Safety, trust & environment

I provide care in a clean, calm, and pet-friendly apartment designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable. I only accept one client or one family at a time to ensure a low-stress environment and close supervision. All pets are introduced slowly and carefully, and interactions with my dog Ember are always supervised. If needed, pets can be separated to ensure they feel comfortable and secure at all times. Because my home has carpeted flooring, I only accept dogs that are reliably house-trained. This helps maintain a clean and comfortable space for all pets in my care. The environment in structured to allow dogs to rest, relax, and adjust comfortably while still having a safe and supervised space throughout their stay.

Information Andrea Gail P. would like to know about your pet

Before your pet’s stay, I’d love to learn more about them so I can provide the best possible care. Please let me know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, potty habits, energy level, favorite activities, and any medications or medical conditions I should be aware of. I’d also appreciate knowing how your dog interacts with other people and dogs, whether they have any fears or anxieties, and if there are any behaviors or triggers I should watch for. The more I know about your pet’s personality and preferences, the more comfortable and enjoyable their stay will be. To help make the experience as smooth as possible, I also ask that all dogs are up to date on vaccinations, protected against fleas and ticks, and reliably house-trained. If your dog has any special needs or accommodations, please let me know in advance. I’m always happy to discuss how I can best care for them.

A typical day

Every dog is unique, so I like to tailor each day to their personality, energy level, and routine. We can enjoy relaxing neighborhood walks with plenty of time to sniff and explore, play games like fetch and tug, or simply spend time indoors with toys, enrichment, and lots of attention. If your dog enjoys outings and you approve, I’d be happy to take them to nearby fenced dog park for some extra exercise and playtime. I prioritize safety above all else, so I only visit during quieter times and avoid crowded conditions whenever possible. Every outing based on your comfort level and your dog’s individual needs. Whether your pup loves to stay active or prefers a slower-paced day, my goal is to make them feel happy, comfortable, and right at home while they’re in my care.

Loving Care Like Family

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Andrea, and I’ve been caring for dogs for over 15 years, starting when I was 11 years old. My experience started with my aunt’s two Shih Tzus, whom I helped care for from puppyhood until they passed away from old age. Since then, dogs have always been a big part of my life. I currently have three dogs back in my home country and a mini Labradoodle named Ember here in the US. Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, including giving oral medications and supporting daily routines. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, brushing, and basic training. I enjoy teaching simple commands because it helps build trust and confidence between dogs and their environment. I treat every dog with patients, care, and respect as part of my own family.
