Because I am a stay-at-home dog mom and a wellness practitioner, my life is naturally designed around being present. I host shamanic healing sessions in my home temple, which means I am physically here about 95% of the week. Pet care isn't something I 'squeeze in' around a commute; it is the heartbeat of my daily routine. My morning walks, yard play sessions, and even my work hours are all structured to ensure the dogs are supervised, comforted, and engaged. Aside from occasional quarterly retreats out of state (which are blocked off on my calendar well in advance), I am consistently available to provide a stable, rhythmic environment for your pup. Your dog becomes a part of my daily flow—from morning park 'sniffaries' to quiet afternoon relaxation by my side.

Safety, trust & environment

Multi-Zone Safety: > My home is designed for safety and peace of mind. Not only is the yard fully fenced, but I have an outdoor gate separating the deck from the main yard. This is perfect for giving guest dogs a "breather" or for slow, safe introductions to my personal dogs. Inside, I also use kitchen gates to create separate zones, ensuring your pup always feels secure and never overwhelmed. To ensure the health and comfort of all our guests, we maintain a strictly flea-free sanctuary. We kindly ask that all pups be current on flea/tick prevention and up-to-date on core vaccines prior to their stay.

Information Andrea G. would like to know about your pet

To ensure the most peaceful and joyful stay at the Sanctuary, please let me know: Social Style: How does your dog typically react when meeting new friends? Are they a "play all day" type or do they prefer their own space? Routine: What is their typical feeding and potty schedule? (I love to keep things as consistent as possible for them!) Triggers: Are they afraid of thunder, loud trucks, or do they have a high prey drive for squirrels during walks? House Rules: Are they allowed on furniture, or do you prefer they stay off? Are they crate trained or "gate" trained? Wellness: Any allergies or specific "no-go" touch zones I should be aware of?

A typical day

We start the morning with a walk to the nearby park to get those "sniffaries" in! The rest of the day is a balance of relaxation in our home sanctuary and physical play in the fenced yard. Because I am home, potty breaks are frequent thanks to the doggy door. I also love to incorporate mentally stimulating games (like treat puzzles or basic command reinforcement) to keep your pup engaged and happy.

Premium Sanctuary | 24/7 Dog Care

Pet care experience

Hello! I'm Andrea. My life is centered around my home sanctuary, where I work as a shamanic medicine healer and because my clients come to my home temple, l can provide constant, dedicated presence for my furry guests. I live with my partner, who works during the day but joins in on the evening cuddles! 🛡️ The "Socialization Sanctuary" Difference I specialize in helping dogs—especially puppies and shy rescues—find their confidence. Unlike the chaotic environment of a dog park, I offer a controlled, small-pack experience: • From Hesitation to Harmony: I recently hosted a guest who arrived very shut down—tail tucked and backing away. Through gentle energy work, a grounded home environment, and gradual 1-on-1 and 1-on-2 introductions with my dogs, I helped her find her confidence. She went from needing slow introductions to learning "Sit" and "Come" alongside my pack, eventually resting peacefully in the heart of the home even during high-energy play nearby. • Social Modeling: Your pup joins our "Daily Academy." I do consistent training with my own dogs, and guests are invited to join! Whether it’s mastering the doggy door or learning their very first commands (Sit, Come, Wait), your pup “shadows” my dogs and learn through observation. • The "Off-Switch": We balance high-energy tug-of-war with structured "Settle" time in my den. I teach pups how to regulate their energy and relax even when there is activity around them. 🗣️ Advanced Communication & Play We believe in engaging a dog’s mind as much as their body. I am currently modeling "Hunger for Words" speech buttons with my own pup. Guest dogs get to observe this cognitive communication in action, stimulating their curiosity and mental focus during their stay. 🐾 Meet the Mentors • Leesi (7 yrs): My well-mannered Boxer/Staffy mix. She is a sweet, stable girl who is an expert at welcoming and calming new friends. • Blue (11 mos): My curious Pitty who has taught me so much about puppy patience. He is the perfect partner for pups who want to play hard and learn the ropes! 🏠 Why Choose the Sanctuary: • 24/7 Premium Care: Ideal for puppies, seniors, or pups with separation anxiety who require a constant, soothing human presence. • Active Lifestyle: We are a 2-minute walk from a large park for daily morning "sniffaris" and mental stimulation. • Layered Safety: A fully fenced yard with doggy door access, plus a gated deck and indoor zones for safe, supervised decompression. To maintain the grounded, calm energy of my home temple, I only welcome 1–2 guests at a time. This allows me to provide the deeply devoted care and energy that makes this a true sanctuary experience.
