I bring several years of professional pet-sitting experience to every visit. I worked as a cat sitter with Katie’s Kitty of New York City before becoming the company’s Queens manager, where I helped oversee both pet care and a team of sitters. In the time I have lived in Fairfield County, I have had three rescue cats and two large breed dogs. I’m experienced with cats of all personalities, from outgoing and playful to shy, cautious, and independent, and I understand how important it is to respect each animal’s individual routine and comfort level. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs, including large breeds, and have plenty of firsthand experience with the needs and personalities of big dogs. Most importantly, I know that having someone care for your pet means trusting them with a beloved member of your family and with your home. I take that responsibility seriously. You can expect dependable, attentive care, good communication, plenty of updates and photos, and lots of affection when your pet wants it!

I love and care for the pets I sit for as if they were my own. I take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s beloved pet and home very seriously, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they are in caring, capable hands. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully and maintain the routines their pets know, from feeding and medications to walks, playtime, litter care, and companionship. Safety is always a priority. I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes, food restrictions, and anything else that could affect your pet’s well-being. I also pay close attention to behavior and will let you know if I notice anything unusual. My years working professionally in pet care have taught me how much trust is involved in giving someone access to your home and putting a beloved pet in their care. I treat both with tremendous care and respect. You can expect reliable communication, plenty of updates and photos, and most importantly, a pet who is genuinely loved and cared for while you’re away.

Andrea is an extremely caring and responsible pet caregiver. Through the years I have watched her nurse a blind cat with multiple health issues, giving her the best life she could possibly have--and she had a great one under Andrea's care and love. She also cared for a dog with lime disease, and ensured that he had the proper care and medication, as he lived with this chronically. She has also successfully introduced a pit bull and rottweiler (both adult rescues) to each other, who became great friends. She loves animals very much, and has an enormous heart. I would trust her with my beloved cats any day, and I believe anyone would be lucky to have her watching and caring for their pets.
I have known Andrea for well over 10 years and she is a wonderful cat sitter as well as an amazing person. We first met working together for a small cat sitting company in NYC. I was a manager and she was a stellar employee. In just a couple of years she took over managing a team of cat sitters of her own. She also continued caring for her own clients' kitties as well! She departed the company only because she moved out of the city and she is still missed so much. The care and attention she gives to each and every kitty in her care is unmatched. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is kind, dedicated and absolutely trustworthy. Any cat in her care will be relaxed, happy and showered with love and affection.

She has endless patience, genuine affection, and an incredible sense of responsibility. Whether it’s a cat or a dog, Andrea is completely devoted to the happiness and well-being of all animals. She notices the little things, makes sure they feel safe and loved, and gives them the kind of care and attention every animal deserves. Honestly, she is the best cat and dog mom ever, and I would trust her completely with any animal. They couldn’t be in better hands.

Schedule
I currently have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate morning, daytime, and evening visits throughout the week. I keep my service area relatively close to home so I can be dependable, punctual, and give each visit the time and attention it deserves. My availability can vary with my professional schedule, but I keep my Rover calendar up to date and only accept bookings I know I can fully commit to. Once I’m booked to care for your pet, you can count on me to be there!
