Hi, I’m Andrea! I’m a 2020 UMass Vet & Animal Sciences Bachelor’s graduate. I’m dedicated to providing superb animal care. I have over a decade of academic and professional experience, and have trained with a large variety of species. I’ve been on Rover for over five years now, and have over 20 wonderful regular clients. I absolutely love my job and treasure the privilege of caring for my clients’ pets!

I care for the pets and home as if they were my own. I’m great at following written schedules/instructions to help your pets be as comfortable as possible, and to keep your home as you’d like it. During the day I follow your feeding and walk/play schedules to the best of my ability. I take in the mail and water the plants as instructed, and generally care for the home and show that it’s inhabited while you’re away. I stay overnight with the animals as instructed.

Andrea is fantastic and so professional. She’s highly communicative and genuinely just great with animals. I have one cat that’s very shy around new people, and to see the way Andrea has earned her trust puts my mind at ease when I go away.

Schedule
Pet care is my full time job! I usually have a house sitting stay going on, with a few walks or drop ins scheduled for the daytime. I’m usually in and out of the house for 4-6 hours during the day (coming and going from drop ins), and otherwise tending to the “overnight” house and animals. I’ll be there for breakfast, a mid-day drop in, and dinner; plus overnight. Please feel free to book additional walks and drop ins as needed for the daytime!

- I would like to know about: - food allergies and preferences - special needs and medical issues - behavioral issues to watch out for - special tricks your dog enjoys to make them feel more at home During our meet and greet, I’ll get to know your animal’s usual schedule and the locations of important things like dog food, leashes, and medications. For each booking I’ll need to know what you would like from me - should I feed a meal during drop ins? Avoid other dogs on walks? For house sitting, a written guide to your animal’s schedule helps!
