Pawsome Care for Your Furry Family
I love animals and have always had dogs growing up. I currently have 3 pups of my own. I rescued 2 huskies when they were approximately 1 year old and have had them for about 5 years now. I also have a beagle mix, whom I have had since he was 8 weeks old, he is now 7 years old. They are all important members of our family. My professional animal care experience began when I was in college. I worked at a few doggy daycares during this time and over the summer after graduation. This was when I realized that taking care of animals who are not your own is honestly hard work (all cuddles aside). It is extremely important to understand that, just like us, all animals have their own personalities and preferences, therefore it is important to listen and understand them to ensure the best care for them. Some of my responsibilities at the doggy daycares & boarding included: -Managing safe playtime between groups of 10-20 dogs at a time -Arranging and implementing small group play or solo playtime for dogs who were lower energy and/or did not enjoy the large group play -Feeding & Filling up Water bowls (dogs & cats) -Cleaning up accidents (dogs & cats) -Bathing & Brushing -Cleaning litter box/changing litter -Cuddles (dogs & cats) -Rotating cats in & out of crates for individual play time with employees (or as preferred by cat/owner)

Andrea was great! Indie came home very well taken care of. When leaving, she whined out the window because she did not want to come home!

Andrea did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Kona. We were away for 17 days and needed a loving family to taker her in rather than a kennel. Her previous reviews all lived up to their marks. Andrea is knowledgeable and attentive to dog personalities and was able to help our girl transition into a good routine with lots of love and exercise. Having our dog sleep in her own bed each night (with her blankie!) made it much easier to be away. I received pictures or text communication almost everyday. I couldn't have been happier and will definitely use Andrea's services again. I highly recommend.

Andrea was a wonderful sitter for our 1 year old lab mix. She clearly has such a heart for dogs and went over and above in many ways. This was our first time having our dog taken care of outside of our home and she certainly threw Andrea a few curveballs from a diarrhea episode to refusing her food. Andrea found all sorts of ways of making her feel comfortable and kept us updated throughout our trip. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I am available most days, however I do work Monday-Friday. If you are okay with me going to work and returning home on those days then I am definitely available. Even when I am not home, your pup will remain supervised and in a safe space. My priority is to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for your pets!

How I care for your pet will largely depend on the information/preferences you provide and what your fur baby seems to prefer while in my care. I do not have a fenced in yard, however I do have a 10x10 in the backyard that can be utilized if your fur baby likes to catch a breeze and lay in the sun. Otherwise your pup will be able to stay indoors. I also live in a neighborhood that provides a safe area to go on walks without being on a main road with a lot of traffic passing by.
Pets
A typical day
Your pup will be able to go on walks around the neighborhood and explore the area. If they enjoy being outside, they will be able to utilize the safe area I have in my backyard for as long as they want. They will enjoy lots of cuddles and attention that meets their needs. If they desire their own space, I have baby gates in various places that will allow them to safely be alone. I can also provide kongs with frozen canned dog food and/or peanut butter.
