I am passionate about animals!
I absolutely love caring for animals! If you have pets other than cats or dogs, please let me know if they need any additional care. I grew up caring for birds, lizards, turtles, fish, and dogs, and I have also cared for bunnies and guinea pigs for friends while they were on vacation. I have plenty of experience dog sitting, letting pets out, playing with them, and taking dogs on walks. I’m comfortable caring for most animals (with the exception of spiders and snakes), and I’m happy to work with you to understand exactly what your pet needs. If you have a very energetic dog, I love going on long hikes during the summer and would be happy to bring your dog along for an adventure at a park. Please let me know how your dog does around other dogs so I can make sure they have a safe and enjoyable experience. If your dog simply needs someone to let them out, play with them, or give them some extra attention while you’re away, I’d be happy to help! I’m also happy to stop in and feed, check on, or play with other pets in your home. I’m very passionate about animals and love being able to help people by making sure their pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re away!

I tailor my care to each pet’s individual routine, needs, and personality. I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, where I can keep them comfortable and maintain their normal schedule while their owners are away. I can provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, companionship, medication if needed, litter or cage cleaning, and general care based on your instructions. I’m also comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens and other birds, goats, horses, sheep, rabbits, reptiles, and fish. I understand that every animal is different, so I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and take the time to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. With advance notice, I can often accommodate schedules that require visits before and after my normal work hours.

Andrea is Amazing with my dog. She has watched my dog a few times now, and is definitely my first choice when I need someone to watch her. She is great at making sure that my dog always has what she needs, and that she is happy. She is also great with making sure my dog gets the exercise she needs, by playing with her and taking her for walks. My dog loves Andrea so much! I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
Andrea is not only great with dogs but is a wonderful individual! Andrea takes her responsibilities seriously, prides herself on quality service, and is great at handling dogs. She is my dogs favorite person (only slightly jealous). Andrea is prompt, professional, and incredibly pleasant to work with.

Schedule
I work full-time in Holland, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. My schedule is fairly flexible when I have advance notice, and I’m happy to work with you to accommodate your pet’s routine. For stays or visits arranged ahead of time, I can provide dog walks and pet care before work in the morning and after work in the evening. I’m also happy to discuss additional visits or care needs depending on the schedule and length of the booking. I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens and other birds, goats, horses, sheep, rabbits, reptiles, fish, and more. Whether your pets have a simple routine or need a little extra attention, I’m happy to follow their normal care schedule and make sure they’re well looked after while you’re away.

- Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or anything I should know to help keep them safe, comfortable, and happy while they’re in my care. I’d like to know what situations, people, animals, sounds, or environments may make your pet reactive or uncomfortable. If your pet does not get along with other dogs or animals, please let me know so I can plan accordingly and avoid situations that could cause stress or conflict. Please also provide any important medical information I may need to know, including allergies, medical conditions, injuries, mobility concerns, dietary restrictions, or anything else that could affect their care. If your pet takes medication, please go over the instructions with me, including the medication name, dosage, timing, and the proper way it should be administered. Please also let me know what I should do if your pet refuses or spits out their medication. Most importantly, please tell me your pet’s name, favorite activities, how much exercise they are comfortable with, and anything else you feel would help me understand their personality and provide the best care possible.
