I am currently in in classes from around 10am to 3pm from Monday to Thursday so my schedule is very open to be able to do 2-3 visits per day. I’m also very flexible and would love to make time for your fur babies.

Information Andrea D. would like to know about your pet
When watching your pet, I’d love to know as much about them as possible so I can tend to them in the way they need. For example, If your dog is super energetic, I’ll make sure to spend more time playing with them and go on longer walks. If your dog has any allergies, medications or health concerns I need to be aware of, I’d love to have this information so that I can be prepared to act in the case of an emergency. I’d also like to know how much communication you’d expect from me, if you want regular updates I can send pictures and videos of your fur baby while we’re hanging out, but if you’re going to be busy I can respect that too :)
A typical day
When I have the free time, i love to go on hikes with my dog! I genuinely enjoy walking with dogs since I can get my exercise in for the day while the dog does too. I usually take my dog on at least one long walk per day of about an hour. When we get home, I let her relax while I take care of some errands and play with the cat then I sit outside with my laptop while she explores the backyard. She loves fetch so we usually play that for a while before going back inside. I tend to switch my dogs toys out every week to get her excited over them, and same with the cat.

Pet care experience
My name is Andrea and I’m a Mechanical Engineering student at George Mason University. Ever since I was young, I always had a passion for animals and used to jump at the opportunity to take care of my parents friends dogs. I became the trusted neighborhood dog walker and sitter and even helped a few families with training their puppies while in high school. I am now the lucky dog mom to the sweetest pitbull mix, Jade, and cat mom to an energetic one year old cat, Onyx, who I’ve trained to become best friends. Most of my day is revolved around my fur babies, I love doing my work outside while Jade runs around the backyard and when I’m not working, me and Jade go on hikes or chill at home and cuddle with Onyx. I personally understand how difficult it can be to find help with pets while on vacation or working so I’d love to use my free time to help families with sitting or walking! :)
