A Win-Win All Around!
As a Rover client in the past, I totally understand the value of being comfortable with your pet’s caregiver and I am very receptive to both the pet and owner’s needs. I have plenty of experience caring for dogs and cats-and a responsible, soft heart full of love for all creatures. My son is in school full time and lives with me half of the time. He is a calm child who respects boundaries and has spent a lot of time around both dogs and cats. That’s extra love for your pet-if that’s what they are comfortable with! While I no longer have any pets of my own, I absolutely love the joy and company that they bring. I’m now a homeowner, with a big yard (unfenced), direct access to walking trails, and a work from home job that will largely keep me at your cat or dog’s beck and call! A bit more about my animal experience: My first ever job was as a summer student at the SPCA (many moons ago..!) From there followed years of volunteer experience in the shelter system and in other countries (which led me to my Mexican street dog Trooper for 13 glorious years 💘). My first pet, Squirt the cat, was mine to love for 18 years.

Andrea was great!!! She was very loving to our Finnie, lots of pictures and we were totally at ease. We have had bad experiences in the past with other boarding kennels where the dog came home upset and miserable. Not the case this time. She came home calm and comfortable. Maybe even a little spoiled. I would definitely send our pup to Andrea and would recommend her 100% to anyone.
We had such a great experience with Andrea. She took care of our 3 cats for a week while we were on vacation, couldn't have asked for a better sitter. She not only made sure they were fed and comfortable, but she also spent time playing with them every day. Andrea also went above and beyond by col6our chicken eggs which was helpful extra touch. We received regular updates with photons mesabout how everyone was doing which was a huge piece of mind while we were away. We can home to 3 happy cats and everything in great shape. I would absolutely recommend Andrea to anyone looking for a caring responsible and communicative sitter. We will definitely be booking Andrea again!
Andrea was amazing with my dog, Loki. She communicated very well from start to finish and was wonderful with regular updates and pics. She was flexible with doing the meet & greet and drop off / pick up times. Most importantly, she did a fantastic job in her overall care of Loki. I'm so relieved and grateful to have found Andrea! I give her the highest recommendation!
Andrea is amazing! She took excellent care of our dog Georgia providing us with updates throughout the week. It was such a relief to know that Georgia was being well cared for while we were away at our daughter’s wedding. She is a loving and caring person and I would highly recommend her if you need someone to care for your pet!
Andrea and her son were absolutely amazing with our cat chase. It was so nice having peace of mind knowing he was being loved and cared for as much as he would of been at home. We will 10000% be booking again next time!

Schedule
I mainly work from home and am by your pet’s side most of the time. When boarding for longer than a night, I will inevitability need to run out for short periods of time, so your pet will need to be comfortable and safe with sometimes being alone. We can chat about your pet’s needs in more detail before booking.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a welcoming home that is best suited to easy going or mature pets. Young dogs may be a good fit depending on training and behaviours. We are the perfect home for cats to feel safe and secure and loved! Your pet will always be on leash when we head outside. I prefer a harness as this tends to cause less pulling and is more secure. My yard is unfenced so if your dog is not comfortable on a leash or tends to break away then this might not be a good fit. We will chat in detail before booking about sleeping, feeding, health concerns and keeping in contact when you are away. A meet and greet before we book is a must and a great way to learn more about each other.
A typical day
Direct trail access from back yard. Let’s go for a walk or a run! Frequent bathroom breaks. Cats have lots of nooks and cranny’s to stay cozy, great window views, private, clean litter area and the whole place to themselves. Constant companionship and cuddles if that’s what your pet loves. Lots of picture and video updates- even a facetime if you wish!
