Reviews
Andrea is very trustworthy and kind. She definitely has a way with our fur babies, our dogs are great and deserve a great person to take them out when we don’t have the opportunity I highly recommend Andrea.
Andrea has been an amazing help with my new puppy Lilly. When I hired her Lilly barely knew how to walk on a leash and now when I take her on her walks she is a perfect pup! I didn’t expect her to train my pup, just get her out and about but she’s perfectly leash trained now and I can’t believe it. Thanks again! Lilly can’t wait for your next visit.
I can’t recommend Andrea enough! She has been so helpful with our three dogs. Sometimes I can be a little overwhelmed with them but she never is! With my recent health issues we’ve used her services multiple times and every time the pups are happy and so are we.
It’s awesome that Andrea has expanded to taking clients online we’re really excited for her. She’s been a great help in walking our dog when we have busy work weeks. She really loves our dog Charlie and he loves her too. Don’t get too busy Andrea! We’ll be seeing you soon.

Caring for pets in a client's home involves several key elements to ensure their well-being and happiness: 1. **Feeding and Watering**: Provide regular, scheduled meals tailored to each pet's dietary needs. Ensure fresh water is always available. 2. **Exercise and Play**: Engage pets in stimulating activities and play sessions to keep them mentally and physically active. This might include walks, playtime with toys, or interactive games. 3. **Grooming**: Brushing, bathing (if necessary), and grooming pets to maintain their coat health and cleanliness. This also includes nail trimming, ear cleaning, and dental care. 4. **Medication Administration (if needed)**: Administer any medications as prescribed by a veterinarian, ensuring accurate dosage and timing. 5. **Litter Box Maintenance (for cats)**: Regularly clean and maintain litter boxes to ensure a hygienic environment for cats. 6. **Monitoring Health**: Keep an eye out for any signs of illness or discomfort and promptly notify the owner if any concerns arise. 7. **Safety and Security**: Ensure that the home environment is pet-proofed and free from hazards. This includes securing gates, removing toxic plants or substances, and ensuring fences are intact for outdoor areas. 8. **Affection and Attention**: Provide plenty of love, attention, and affection to the pets to keep them feeling secure and happy while their owners are away. 9. **Communication with Owners**: Maintain open and transparent communication with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' well-being and any notable behaviors or events. 10. **Emergency Preparedness**: Be prepared to handle any emergencies or unexpected situations that may arise, including having access to emergency vet care if needed. Overall, the goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment where pets feel loved and cared for in the absence of their owners.

A typical day
When caring for pets, I aim to provide engaging and enjoyable activities that cater to their individual preferences and energy levels. Some fun activities I may do with the pets I watch include: 1. **Outdoor Adventures**: Take dogs for walks in the neighborhood, visits to the dog park, or hikes in nature trails where they can explore and sniff to their heart's content. 2. **Playtime Sessions**: Engage pets in interactive play sessions with their favorite toys, such as fetch with a ball or frisbee for dogs, or laser pointers and feather toys for cats. 3. **Training and Brain Games**: Incorporate training exercises or brain games to stimulate pets mentally and reinforce positive behaviors. This could include basic obedience training, teaching new tricks, or puzzle toys that challenge their problem-solving skills. 4. **Treat Time**: Use treats as rewards during training sessions or as a fun way to reinforce good behavior. I might also incorporate treat-dispensing toys or homemade frozen treats for pets to enjoy. 5. **Quiet Cuddles and Bonding Time**: Spend quality one-on-one time with pets, offering snuggles, belly rubs, or grooming sessions to strengthen our bond and provide comfort and companionship. 6. **Sensory Stimulation**: Introduce pets to new sights, sounds, and smells to enrich their sensory experiences. This could involve playing calming music, introducing new toys or scents, or simply spending time outdoors in different environments. 7. **Agility or Obstacle Courses**: Set up simple agility courses or obstacle courses in the backyard or living space to encourage physical activity and provide a fun challenge for pets. 8. **Water Play (for water-loving pets)**: If safe and appropriate, incorporate water play activities such as sprinklers, kiddie pools, or water toys for pets who enjoy splashing around and cooling off. 9. **Socialization Opportunities**: Arrange playdates with other friendly pets or invite friends and family over for supervised interactions to provide socialization opportunities and prevent loneliness. 10. **Creative Activities**: Get creative with DIY toys, homemade agility equipment, or DIY treat recipes to add an extra element of fun and enrichment to our time together. By incorporating a variety of fun and stimulating activities, I strive to ensure that the pets I watch are not only well cared for but also thoroughly entertained and content during their time in my care.
