Hello! Since you’ll be putting your pet in my care I know how important it is to know what kind of person is keeping them company. I am born and raised here in Queens and recently graduated with my bachelor’s in Psychology. I’ve always loved animals and wanted to be a vet when I was little. I started rover November 2018 and have had a significant amount of experience with taking care of dogs and cats of all ages, personalities and health backgrounds. I’ve met so many sweet and loving cats and dogs that always become the highlight of my day. I have 20+ years of experience with both dogs and cats, but currently do not have any at home. I am open to caring for dogs, cats and any other small animals. I used to have 7 cats and 1 dog, with my oldest cat living up to 18 years. I also have some experience caring for bunnies and turtles. I have experience with administering meds orally and with a needle (I had a diabetic cat and I’ve taken care of cats who’ve needed meds). I’ve grown up around cats my whole life and don’t remember a time where there wasn’t a cat in the house. Being able to work with dogs and cats is very fulfilling for me! I’ve had experience with dogs of all ages, caring for small, medium and big dogs. Tasks included walking, feeding, cleaning up, playing. - Have a Cat? I’ve lived with cats my entire life with my most recent cat living with me until she was 18 years old. I have experiences with cats of all ages and diabetic cats. - Administering Medication I am able to administer medication for your pet. I am not professionally trained, but I have experience with needle injections, oral injections, and pills. I have administered medications for my own pets and other clients’ pets. Specifically, I have administered insulin injections and checked blood sugar. If your pet is a bit hard to handle during medication administration, please let me know. We can set up a test run and avoid any possible issues.
