Hello there! My name is Andrea :) I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I can care for any size of dog and have a 9 year old pug myself. I’ve worked as a veterinarian assistant, grooming assistant, group dog walker, and dog handler at a daycare. I’ve had multiple jobs within this field that have allowed me to train dogs on a basic level. I also have experience with reactive dogs or behavioural issues, but would prefer one on one’s for these special pups. I love trail walks and used to love taking up to 6 dogs to an off leash dog beach twice a day in Vancouver. I will keep my calendar updated on what my availabilities are. I’m very flexible so message me with any concerns or details you would like to express. *I’m also able to do dog baths, ear cleaning and nail trims at an extra cost

I am very familiar with being respectful of other’s homes. In film, part of my job is making sure the home is protected and homeowners are happy afterwards. I’m happy to follow instructions precisely and clean up any messes if needed.

Andrea was great with Bruno! Having such a big dog can be difficult when finding a walker or services but she was super comfortable with him and he absolutely loved her ? even with his barking issues, Andrea wasn't nervous at all and was able to correct him right away and get to know Bruno for the big teddy bear he is!
Andrea is by far my first choice when I need a dog sitter. We have used her service on several occasions. Whether I am needed at work urgently, or needing a shopping day to myself or even if I have company coming over to the house and I know that someone is allergic to my dog I will hand him over to Andrea. The longest Andrea has babysat my French bulldog, Teddy was 2 weeks. She always stays in contact with me. She totally eliminates the stress of leaving my dog behind. Above all, Andrea is very trustworthy and most importantly my dog loves her!!
Andrea was wonderful with Marlo. He warmed up to her right away and she was very understanding about my dog mom anxiety. She sent me a picture so I could see he was doing well. She was also very flexible when I had to change the times.
Andrea is the ideal candidate for your pups! She is a natural animal lover and treats all dogs as if they were her own. She is compassionate and makes sure each dog is very well taken care of. I trust Andrea 100% with my dog and would highly recommend her!!
I can surely and confidently say that Andrea’s meaning in life is to be with dogs. I know a lot of people throw around the term “I am a dog person,” but Andrea really is. I unfortunately did not grow up with a pet dog (which sucked!) and when I finally got a dog I was over the moon. I was also nervous because I did not know how much work, patience, and knowledge it took to be a good dog owner. She did absolutely all the training alongside slowly teaching me about our dog. She has a long history with dogs in general. I know things about dogs that I couldn’t learn on my own, even if I committed. I am now so comfortable with my dog in all aspects. I'm Andrea's brother and we grew up with 3 dogs in our house. Occasionally they would have puppies and she would help birth, train them. One of her first jobs was at a dog groomers and then went on to work at a pet food store. Her current dog is one of the best trained/spoiled dogs I've seen. She has an encyclopedic knowledge of dog breeds and health issues. Andrea has always had a passion for dogs and is the most experienced, knowledgeable and caring person I know when it come to dogs. She was made for this.

Schedule
I’m freshly moved from Vancouver, looking to spend time with dogs again part time but I occasionally work in the film industry as a production assistant. Happy to prioritize regular dogs in my life. If you are looking for someone steady and reliable to walk your pup, I may be a good fit!
