Before caring for your pets, I like to learn as much as I can so I can provide the best experience for them and for you. It’s helpful to know: Your pet’s daily routine (feeding times, walks, play, sleep) Any medical needs, medications, or allergies Behavior quirks (are they shy, energetic, anxious, reactive, etc.) How they do around new people, animals, or on walks Any house rules or boundaries you’ve set (e.g. furniture, crate use, treats) Emergency contact info and your preferred vet Every pet is unique, and I want to honor your care style while offering consistency, safety, and love. The more I know, the better I can support their comfort and well-being while you’re away.
A typical day
Each day is tailored to your pet’s personality and needs, but it always starts with a warm greeting and some quality time—whether that’s a morning walk, belly rubs, or breakfast in their favorite dish. If your dog loves being active, we’ll enjoy daily walks, time outside to sniff and explore, and plenty of play sessions with their favorite toys. For pets who prefer a slower pace, I’m happy to provide quiet companionship, gentle brushing, or cozy nap spots nearby while I work. Throughout the day, I stick to their feeding and potty routines, provide mental stimulation with toys or training (if applicable), and offer lots of love and attention. I’m also mindful of any medication or special care instructions. In the evenings, we wind down together—maybe a walk before dinner, some cuddles, and making sure they’re settled in for a peaceful night while you’re away.

I’ve grown up with pets my entire life—dogs, cats, and even small animals—so providing loving care for animals is second nature to me. I began pet and house sitting through Rover in the summer of 2025, and I bring a lifetime of experience as a responsible and compassionate caregiver.

We loved having Andrea watch our 6 month old puppy, Olive. She sent plenty of pictures and updates to let us know that all was well and set our minds at ease. She also left the house spotless. We will happily have her back to stay in the future!
