Growing up with my incredible dog Luna ( a beautiful Golden), I learned firsthand the values of unconditional love, patience, and understanding a dog's unique body language and needs, including setting clear boundaries. I’m experienced and responsible when it comes to administering medications if needed. Over the years, I’ve been a trusted dog walker and sitter for friends, offering drop-by walks, house sitting, and boarding. I love taking dogs on long walks, whether through the city or into nature, always ensuring I have water and snacks to keep them happy and comfortable. I’m also experienced at handling dog park situations with care and attentiveness.

Andrea was great with our dog who can be a bit shy. He was immediately comfortable with her. Andrea was punctual and very pleasant. She really enjoys dogs. Highly recommend.
Andrea has taken care of our dog (60lb hound/lab mix), Paige, a number of times and she is FANTASTIC! Paige loves her, she is kind communicative, and we absolutely trust her with our dog and home. I would recommend Andrea to anybody looking for a dog walker or dog/house sitter!
Andrea is the guardian/'co-parent' to my dog for over a year now, and we love her. Andrea has dog sat over night and even taken our dog on long hikes without any issues. She is kind and super affectionate, but also stern and capable of handling the dog in difficult or silly situations. She is reliable and very responsive, and flexible to what the dog needs (i.e. snuggles on rainy days, socialisation with visits to local businesses, or long walks to get the zoomies out) and the dog is always left content after a visit with Andrea. We recently added a kitten to our household, and Andrea has been a star in coping with the two together as well.
Andrea absolutely loves pets, especially dogs and cats. She has cared for my cat multiple times and everyone was happy with the arrangements, which says a lot as my cat is very picky. She also frequently walks and spends time with her neighbours dog and cat. Andrea is very gentle with pets but also knows how to set needed boundaries. Having grown up with multiple pets, she is very familiar in reading their body language and knows their needs. I can highly recommend her as a pet sitter!

Schedule
I have a flexible, work-from-home schedule during the week and can take your dog for daytime or evening walks. In terms of house sitting, I am available weekends and Fridays.

- Before caring for any pet, it’s great for me to know about their unique personality and needs. I'd like to learn about their daily routines, diet, and any specific health concerns or medications they may require. Understanding their temperament is important too—are they social or shy, do they get along with other pets, and how do they react to new people and environments? It’s helpful to know their favorite activities, toys, and any behavioral triggers or fears. Lastly, sharing any training cues or commands they respond to will help ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for your pet.
