About Andrea B.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I prefer to stay in a client’s home because their pets tend to be happier in their own environment and on their normal schedule. I like to maintain their regular routine so they feel secure and loved.
Information Andrea B. would like to know about your pet
I interview clients thoroughly when we meet or talk on the phone. I also require detailed written instructions in a hard copy or email. I want to know about any allergies, medications, behaviors, fears or anxieties (lightening, loud noises, other animals), dietary needs, meal, potty and sleep schedules, how long they can be left alone, favorite toys and communication styles. I also ask questions about the location of emergency services, water shut-offs, breaker boxes and fire evacuation plans. I like to have contact information for any neighbors or friends in case I need help in an emergency.
A typical day
I enjoy going for long walks and playing “catch”, “keep-away”, or “tug” with dogs. I like to engage cats with various toys and play “hide-n-seek” with them. I am also very good at finding their favorite scratch spot and giving tummy rubs and massages.

I am certified in Red Cross Cat & Dog First Aid, as well as Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED training. I have many longterm clients for whom I’ve provided extended stay animal care, including farm animals, reptiles and birds. Andrea has sat for us twice now and both times have been great! She goes above and beyond to take care of our dog Sadie! Highly recommend!
Andrea was amazing with Sadie! I loved all the pictures and updates and the house was so clean when I got home. Thank you for taking such good care of our girl!

We love Andrea and our animals also love her. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She goes above and beyond in every way.
