I currently work as a substitute teacher in Antigonish, typically from 8:00–2:30, and most weeks I work 3–4 days. This schedule gives me flexibility for early morning care, afternoon check-ins, and evening walks or visits. On days I’m not working, I have full availability and can provide more time, attention, and longer visits.

I also like to know about any special needs, fears, or health concerns, as well as their feeding schedule and how they get along with other pets. The more I know upfront, the better I can make them feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day depends on each pet’s needs and energy, but I like to make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and relaxation. Walks, playtime, and exploring the neighborhood are always part of the day, along with cuddles, pets, and games to keep them mentally stimulated. I also make sure there’s quiet downtime so they can rest and feel comfortable, and I send updates and photos so owners can see how happy and relaxed their pets are.
