I am 63 and have always owned at least one cat all my life but had two for 20 years. I am enjoying retirement from the Civil Service since 2013 and since then have been not just been enjoying the freedom and home life but also travelling in the UK, Europe and USA, caring for friends pets (particularly cats) on a regular basis and it means so much. Im proud to have plenty of positive feedback from the owners who’s pets I have cared for.. I love that cats are independent animals but also the unconditional love they give and in turn I make certain they are looked after to keep them happy in their environment whilst owners are absent. I find that my life is just complete with a cat in it. I find caring for someone’s precious pet allows others a chance for a holiday and gives a peace of mind whilst they are away from home. I treat it as a true gift to be able to care for their adored pet in their absence. I regard myself as open, compassionate and sensible.

Safety, trust & environment
Although cats are independent creatures, I would ensure I pay attention to owners instructions. This especially applies to diet, routine, welfare, cleanliness and administrating medication. It goes without saying that there would be plenty of cuddles and playtime if that’s what they desired but also if the pet was not a fan of these then I would apply the necessary requirements for general care but not force the cat to do something it wasn’t happy with. I would also liaise with the owner and take pictures of their pet’s activities in the day if they requested it. For me it’s all about contented pets, their creature comforts tended to and happy owners.

Andrea looks after our cats while we are away and she’s lovely as always. Communication is smooth and the boys enjoyed her company x
Can’t thank Andrea enough for looking after Freddie. We came home to a happy, well looked after cat. Although Freddie was very ungracious towards Andrea for her care at the time and not on his best behaviour. She coped admirably with him and still spent time with him. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Andrea to look after your cat/s.
Andrea is an amazing cat sitter. My kitties just love her and I know they are in good hands whilst I'm away. I receive daily updates and pictures of them. I would highly recommend Andrea as a wonderful cat sitter
We went abroad for 2 weeks and Andrea popped in every other day to check on our two kitties. We received lovely photos at every visit which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Lots of cuddles and plays which kept them very happy. She also did a few extra checks for us. We will definitely book Andrea for our next holiday!
Andrea is an absolute gem!! From the moment we met her we knew she would love our little tinkers as we do. We received very regular photos/updates, from which we could see that our boys were having the best time, even bought toys for them. Andrea cooked us a delicious meal for our return and did laundry, which was very naughty and unexpected!!
Andrea looked after the cats when we are away, she made sure Charlie took his medication twice a day and sticked to their feeding schedule. The boys love her, 10/10!

Schedule
I am retired so have quite a lot of spare time in between the normal daily routine. I drive so am able to travel to cat sit with ease.
