Brookland Dog Lady
I’ve had 7 dogs over the last 24 years, two lived to be 18 and 19 yrs old. I was known for many years as the Brookland Dog Lady. This is the only time in my adult life that I have only one dog. I currently have one 2-year-old Cockapoo named Peaches. Peaches loves most dogs and people and is generally confident and submissive. She’s very good with large, young, and old dogs alike. My house is fairly quiet. Over my 24 years of experience with my own dogs and watching friends dogs, I have dealt with just about every health problem and ailment. I am experienced with puppies, seniors, providing insulin, doggie diapers, prescriptions and just about anything else you can think of. I love walking dogs through my neighborhood. I have a fully fenced backyard as well. I work primarily from home so I can provide a lot of attention and supervision. They are like children to me.

Andi was very sweet and caring with Yeshe. I really appreciated how kind and attentive she was with her, and I felt comfortable knowing Yeshe was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Andi!
Andi did a GREAT Job caring for my 17 year old Chihuahua who requires extra care these days. She took really good care of Louie and followed the directions that I provided for his care. Her dog Peaches was a sweetheart and very friendly towards Louie too ! Andi provided pics throughout Louie's stay and provided updates too. I was able to enjoy my vacation and I would definitely use her pet sitting services again.
Andi did a GREAT job with my 17 year old Chihuahua who requires a bit more care these days. Louie has impaired vision and hearing, so he needs to be managed for his safety. She was friendly and Louie was well cared for during his 7 day stay. Andi followed my directions for Louie's care and she sent pics throughout Louie's stay. Her dog Peaches is friendly too and I was not concerned with Peaches interacting with Louie. Overall, a great experience with Andi and I would definitely use her services again.
Andi was a wonderful caregiver for our dog Lego. We reached out to her when we were in a bind a week ago and she was able to care for him over a weekend, on short notice. She loves walks with Lego and her dog peaches (who is super sweet with our boy), and she is great about letting them socialize together and with other neighbors. 10/10, I’ll be calling Andi over and over!
Andi watched our dog, Potter, at her home for a week, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Potter loved hanging out with Andi and her sweet dog, Peaches. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos Andi sent while we were away. It definitely gave us peace of mind knowing he was happy and in good hands. We came home to a happy, healthy, and incredibly well cared for pup. In fact, we can’t walk within a block of her house now without Potter pulling us toward her door to say hello! I highly recommend Andi to anyone looking for an exceptional boarding experience. We will absolutely be booking with her again!
Andi is well known in the neighborhood for being a loving, conscientious and attentive dog owner. She has a cozy, dog friendly home with a fenced in back yard perfect for playtime. Her dogs past and present have always been incredibly well cared for and she is highly experienced with dogs overall as well as with handling issues that might come up. Can highly recommend!

Schedule
I work from home so I’m never gone for more than a few hours. My daily schedule starts with breakfast for me and my dog, Peaches. I then take her out immediately to the backyard for a potty break. I get ready for my day and work from home. I walk my dog in the afternoon every day with additional yard breaks throughout the day. We often stop to play with other dog friends along the way. I can do a second walk each day if needed. I feed her again around 6pm. I let her out again in the yard before bed. They would sleep in my bedroom at night - either on the floor, in a dog bed or in bed with Peaches and me.

Safety, trust & environment
Peaches gets along with most dogs, but she can get a little overwhelmed with large, strong, high energy puppies. If you have an med/large dog that want to wrestle rough and doesn’t know it’s own strength, Peaches may not want it to stay over. Every dog is different so we will always have a meet and greet. I do have a doggy door that Peaches can use as needed, but I do go out with her whenever she goes outside. I have a 7 ft wooden fence around my yard. I also have a gate across my front porch so that if any dog were to get out of the front door, they would not be able to get off the porch. Dogs are always leashed when outside of my yard. I have watched and cared for many dogs for my friends, family and neighbors over the years. I have also been "dogmother" (designated in the will to care for a dog if anything had happened to their human) by several friends and family.
Pets
A typical day
Peaches is 2 years old and would love a playmate or another dog to just hang out with. She loves other people and other dogs and is a confident yet submissive dog. She is very good at mirroring the behavior of other dogs - she is very calm around older or nervous dogs. We would play periodically throughout the day both inside and outside. Activities would be dependent of the time of year and the weather.

- Let me know if your dog has any special needs that I need to account for. I will need to know what they eat daily and how many times they are fed per day and when. I am capable of administering medicines and/or insulin. I will also need to know about their behavior with new people and animals so that I can keep everyone safe.
