What makes us different is that we're a mother-and-son team who genuinely love animals and understand the important role they play in our lives. My son, Aidan, is a responsible adult on the autism spectrum who enjoys taking our Golden Retriever, Violet, for daily walks. Like many autistic adults, finding meaningful employment has been challenging, so we're excited to build a service centered around something we both care deeply about—animals. Aidan is also a talented illustrator who creates custom drawings of people's beloved pets. As longtime pet owners, we've seen how animals can change lives. Our first Golden Retriever, Maggie, helped Aidan develop confidence, connect with others, and navigate the world with greater ease as he grew up. Today, Violet continues that legacy, bringing companionship, routine, independence, and joy to our daily lives. We have experience caring for puppies, including reinforcing routines and basic training, as well as providing patient, attentive care for senior dogs and cats who may need a gentler pace and extra support. Every pet is treated as an individual, with kindness, respect, and plenty of attention. Our goal is to provide dependable, loving care that gives your pet a happy experience and gives you peace of mind.

Andrea has been an incredible help with my cat, Fisher. I often need to travel for work on short notice, and whenever I'm in a pinch, Andrea is always willing to step in and help. There is no one I trust more to care for my Golden Retriever, Dashell, than Andrea. She is kind, fun, reliable, and brings such positive energy to every interaction. It's clear how much she genuinely loves and cares for the dogs she looks after. One of the things I appreciate most is that Andrea sends photos and updates throughout the day, so I can see all the adventures Dashell is having, from walks and hikes to swimming in the river. Schedule
Animals are woven into our everyday life. Our days naturally include walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, and plenty of tail wags with our Golden Retriever, Violet. Since I work part-time, I have the flexibility to provide attentive care, exercise, companionship, and routine for your pet throughout the week and on weekends. We understand that every pet is different. Some love adventure, while others prefer a slower pace and extra cuddles. We're happy to meet them where they're at and help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

We currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits for cats and other small pets in your home. During dog walks, we focus on exercise, enrichment, and giving your dog a safe, enjoyable outing tailored to their age, energy level, and needs. For cat care, we'll visit your home to provide fresh food and water, clean the litter box, offer playtime, companionship, and make sure your cat is comfortable and doing well while you're away. We understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so we take the time to follow your instructions and provide care that helps them feel secure and relaxed. At this time, we do not offer overnight stays or house sitting. Our goal is to provide reliable, attentive care that keeps your pets happy and gives you peace of mind while you're away. Photos and updates can be provided during visits so you can see how your pet is doing while you're away.

A typical day
Fun is definitely part of the package! I love getting dogs out for adventures, whether that's exploring the beautiful North Shore trails, enjoying a neighbourhood walk, playing fetch at the park, or stopping for plenty of sniff breaks along the way. For more active pups, I can provide longer walks and hikes, while senior dogs may prefer a slower-paced stroll with lots of attention and affection. For cats, fun might look a little different! I'll spend time playing with their favourite toys, offering enrichment activities, cuddles (if they enjoy them), and making sure they get plenty of companionship while you're away. Every pet is unique, so I tailor activities to their age, energy level, personality, and comfort.

Do they have any fears, triggers, medical conditions, allergies, or mobility concerns? What are their favourite activities, toys, treats, and walking routes? The more I know about your pet's likes, dislikes, habits, and quirks, the better I can make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. I especially appreciate knowing any commands they respond to, feeding instructions, and anything else that helps keep their routine consistent.
