Safety is of the upmost priority when caring for pets. When I take the dogs out to go to the bathroom, I will have the leashes on before I even open the door. I make sure of that before I do take the animals out for exercise. I abide by the owner’s instructions. On walks, I always stay alert so we have a successful walk. In the home, I make sure they are happy and comfortable. I make sure that the pets are fed at their designated times. I love giving treats too! It’s fun for bonding and making them joyful. If they need medication administered that is fine with me. I have experience with oral medication, topical medication and injections. if I have dates blocked off, please still inquire. If you have a friendly dog and I have a friendly dog, sometimes the client’s pets have a pup meet up. It’s to see if they get along swimmingly. Sometimes I don’t have a pup meet up before, but the owners are fine with it.I’ve had great success with that.

Before caring for your animal we will schedule a meet & greet in a public place or your home if you are more comfortable with that. I like to take this time to properly meet your pet prior to your booking. This will allow us to discuss all your pet needs. During the meet and greet I would like to know if there are any behavioral issues I should know about, medications, quirks or mannerisms, feeding schedules, allergies, how your dog interacts with other dogs, kids, and other people. I would also like to know who can I contact in case of an emergency.
A typical day
I like to walk dogs around neighborhood. I take them to the dog park or walk around the park, if given permission. W can enjoy fetch, cuddling, tug-of-war, and massages and giving belly rubs! Maybe even swim or have fun with the hose if that’s an activity they love!

Hello, my name is Andrea. I have been an animal lover all my life. Been doing this for many years. I grew up with some common pets like cats and fish. Not too long after came some unique pets like ferrets and Sugar Gliders! I love a very large spectrum of animals! I have a genuine passion for dogs. I am pretty good at gauging a breed when I see it. I owned two Siberian Huskies and then moved on to pet sitting. I treat pets as if they were my children. They bring me happiness and I always hope to bring them joy on our dates. I am available everyday of the week. I am open for most holidays as well! Have any special requests? Please let me know. Whether it be vet visits, groomers, dog parks, special feeding/cooking requests etc., I'm open. Pet care is my career. I do it full-time and weekends as well. If it’s open on my calendar I’m usually always available and always working to please my clients and to take care of their sweet animals. At home I allow the dogs on the couch as well as my bed. I have a backyard that is fenced in. I also have a large grassy front yard too! To care for the clients dogs it’s whatever they are comfortable with and what makes the animals comfortable. I am flexible and open.

Andrea is such a blessing. She is so gentle with my foster puppy who is terrified of hoomans. He has a lot of unique needs, and she follows them like a champ. Amazingly, he warmed up to her the first day. Andrea is also going the extra mile by helping build his confidence and trust. She is also a great comfort to my senior pup, who is stressed out with our new foster baby. She understands that both puppers are different, and she loves and cares for them each in the ways that they need
I was so glad Andrea was here with my standard poodles, Apple and Henry, while I was out of town. She kept me updated and sent pictures regularly so I never had to worry about how things were going. I returned home to happy dogs and my house looking great! Thank you, Andrea!!!
So very sweet and kind to my dogs and my kids! Came same day and was communicative.
Andrea did a great job pet sitting for our cat Mickey! We were out of the country for several days for a family wedding. She sent me daily messages letting me know he was fed and all was well. When we got home, the kitchen counter where his food was prepared was clean and neat and so was Mickey's eating area in the garage. It gave us peace of mind knowing he was well cared for while we were gone. We wouldn't hesitate at all to utilize Andrea's pet sitting services again. She was terrific!!😊
