The service offered is tailored to the individual needs of the dog. My approach to dogs is that I'm strict and consistent, whilst playful, kind and loving - my dogs love this. I have various beds dotted around the house, but can use a crate if preferred, I have a secured extensive garden, surrounded by working farms in the heart of Somerset. Due to the livestock, dogs are kept on a lead for all walks, but have plenty of room to play in the garden, where they are supervised more than they'd care to be!

Obviously bad habits would be good to know in advance, but I would be more interested to know how they interact with other dogs; whether they don't get on with particular breeds etc. Are there any wild animals that they will chase without fear
A typical day
I have a large, fenced garden surrounded by farmland and woods as well as access to a private orchard. My house is remote; other dogs do walk around here, but we are more likely to bump into a cow, sheep or goat!

Puppy training - successfully trained my own, leading to assitsting training many others, including stubborn hounds and terriers! I'm currently assisting with a 13 week old Ridgeback. I have also had a lot of experience, and some success, with handling nervous dogs

Our dogs seemed very happy with Andre and he sent a couple of messages which were reassuring and appreciated.
Andre was amazing - welcoming when we first went to see his place with Loki, tolerant when we were held up on collection, and warm throughout. Loki had an amazing time despite it being the record heatwave - the first time he’s looked a little disappointed to be coming back home. Andre’s garden is vast and beautifully set away from the beaten track so there’s room for the dogs to run and breathe. Andre even made a makeshift pool to help Loki cool in the summer sun. Would highly recommend and have already rebooked!
My dog Lola was incredibly well looked after over the weekend she stayed with Andre, so much so I’m not too sure she was bothered about coming home! Andre was brilliant, responded to message very quickly and I felt confident my dog was in good hands whilst I was away. Would definitely book with Andre again and would recommend!
