I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles in a variety of environments, from small apartments to large farms. I have worked with a variety of animals including fresh and saltwater fish, geckos, hummingbirds, dachshunds, labradors, mixed breeds, Great Danes, and Maine Coons. I am experienced with weeks old kittens to senior pets and those with special needs, including administering oral medications and maintaining consistent routines. I understand how important stability and familiarity are, especially for older pets. What sets me apart is my attentiveness and calm presence. I treat every animal with the same patience, care, and respect I would give my own. My goal is always to ensure your pets feel safe, secure, and genuinely cared for while you are away.

In your home, I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and loving environment so your pets feel secure and comfortable in their familiar space. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medication, and household routines. I never leave doors unlocked and will not enter through non standard entrances for safety and liability reasons. While I have not yet administered injected medications, I am willing to learn and complete any necessary training to properly care for pets with additional medical needs.

Andra was just great with our dogs, the house, the neighborhood birds, the yard, and are other scaly pets. She followed our instructions to the letter and sought clarification as needed to be certain that things were being done appropriately. Her level of communication throughout was above and beyond. She provided daily images and videos of our dogs that we very much appreciated. During her stay there was a plumbing issue with the sink that she first attempted to resolve but ultimately it required a more complex fix. She was patient and understanding of the situation and it worked out. We will definitely entrust Andra with the house and pets again in the future.
Do not hesitate in hiring Andra! From the moment I met her during our meet and greet I knew that she would be a wonderful fit. She asked lots of questions and made sure that she understood them fully. While we were gone if any questions arose she felt comfortable reaching out to us to question or verify. I am confident that our dogs were very well taken care of. Andra also kept our house immaculate and it was that way upon our return. Schedule
Caring for pets is my full time focus while house sitting, which allows me to spend the majority of my time with your animals. I am present during important transition times when you leave and when you return to help reduce stress and ensure a smooth experience for everyone. Throughout the day and evening, I provide supervision, companionship, walks, playtime, and engagement tailored to your pet’s needs. I am flexible and happy to follow detailed routines, accommodate special requests, and administer oral medications as needed. I require a meet and greet with all new clients to ensure we are a great fit. If your home does not have keyless entry, please provide a key during the meet and greet or leave clear written instructions. Key pickup or drop off outside of the meet and greet is subject to a $10 fee.
