Hello! My name is Andie, and I’m a cat lady, dog lover, bookworm, and traveler. I work as a freelance editor, so I can work from anywhere, and my schedule is very flexible. * As a big animal lover, I love the opportunity to make new furry friends. I currently have a cat (Luna), as well as having cats and dogs growing up. I’ve worked as a dog and cat sitter in Philadelphia and Kansas City for several years, and I also house/pet sit through Trusted Housesitters, a service that facilitates lodging around the world in exchange for house/pet sitting. * Through these experiences, I’m accustomed to working with a variety of types and personalities of cats and dogs, as well as caring for rescue and/or nervous pets. I’m calm and patient, diligent in following specific instructions, and committed to making sure your furry friends are healthy, comfortable, happy, and well loved even while you're away! I’m organized, reliable, and tidy, I’ll make sure your home and/or pet(s) get the respect and care they deserve so you can relax in knowing your home and beloved beasties are safe and well cared for! I try to maintain a routine and environment as close as possible to what pets are used to—feeding and walking at their usual times, etc. I love spending time with pets, whether that means taking a dog out on an exploration or cuddling up with a lap cat/dog, but overall I want pets to be comfortable, so I cater to each pet’s preferences and comfort levels.

We had Andie house sit for us while we were out of town for a few days and I would highly recommend booking with her! She was very nice and easy to work with and our animals were well taken care of. The house was left in perfect shape and with happy animals!
Andie took great care of our cat, Gregory, and of our apartment in Montreal for several weeks while we traveled. We were very confident that our cat was well-looked after by her while we were away. She was a considerate and conscientious house sitter as well, leaving our place very tidy, plants watered, and sheets washed. We wholeheartedly recommend her services.
Andie has been a friend of mine for years, but she’s also been watching my cats for years, to the point that I’m pretty sure they might actually like her more than me. She’s watched them for everything from a week to nearly two months at a time, and I’ve always known they’re in great hands. She follows their feeding schedule, plays with them, sends me photos and updates, and has even bought them little toys and treats while I’m gone. It’s obvious she genuinely enjoys spending time with them, and they’re always happy and comfortable around her. It’s a huge relief when I’m traveling to have someone I completely trust taking care of them. I never have to wonder if they’re being fed properly, getting enough attention, or being looked after. Andie is dependable, caring, and just really good with animals. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch my cats anytime, and I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pets.

Andie is very personable and was great with my pup. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times and a very chill personality...perfect match! I hired her to watch my guy almost immediately the following weekend for an extra night because she took such great care of him. I would definitely hire her again!
Andie was a great host and we were thrilled to find her to watch our little Brady! She sent us updates every day so we knew that he was doing well and in good hands. She was really flexible with drop off and pick up times, even as we had travel delays. Brady seems perfectly at home when we picked him up at the end of our trip. We will definitely use Andie again!

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible, so I can structure my days around your pet’s routine. I typically work from home during the day and sometimes run errands or go out in the afternoon/evening. I’m not usually out late or gone for more than a few hours at a time. I also love to be active, so I’m happy to walk/play with pets as much as needed.

- I’m happy to care for any type/age/breed of pet. I am a fairly small person, however, so I’m unfortunately unable to walk very large dogs.
