Dog Lover - Only Your Pets - Yard
My partner, Will, and I love having dogs around. We each grew up with animals, have been foster parents for 7 rescue pups, and have been dog sitting for 9 years through Rover. We know how hard it can be for dog parents to leave their dog with someone else so we always strive to provide updates and pictures throughout the stay. We think that all dogs deserve tons of attention and love when they’re away from home! We can dog sit for you on vacation weekends or just offer a walk when it's a bit too cold or wet outside for you to go outside yourself. We live in Logan Square and have a fenced in back yard as well as great access to Logan Boulevard. Important to note - we live on the second level and therefore our apartment does have one flight of stairs.

Andi and Will took great care of our golden retriever. She was well loved and had plenty of walks and snuggle time. Andi and Will sent many photos of Tuck during her stay which we appreciated! We would definitely have Tuck stay with them again!

Schedule
We augment our schedule to fit the routine of the dog, within reasonable moderation. Generally, you can expect 4-6 bathroom breaks, 1-2 hours of physical activity and some light training sprinkled throughout the day, depending on your dogs needs.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a completely fenced in yard - all outdoor time is supervised. We do not have any pets of our own and only take one client at a time so there is never a concern about dogs not getting along. We always try and enforce house rules of the owner so they don’t pick up unwanted habits here!
A typical day
Dogs with us will be able to play in our backyard as well as walks throughout the day. If your dog loves car rides, then with your permission, we would love to take them out and about for a lazy cruise. Other than that, your dog will enjoy a lot of cuddles for those who choose to board with us.

- We would like to know the age of the dog we are sitting and the level of energy so that we can tailor our expectations to your pet. Not every dog is meant for long walks or quick sprints, so we're most interested in knowing what is best for him/her. We do not limit breeds. Additionally, please let us know of any special circumstances for your friend. If there is medicine to be administered or if separation anxiety is a huge issue, we need to know so that we can respond accordingly. We believe in positive reinforcement only.
