Availability
I currently work full time and am usually unavailable to visit pups during the daytime on weekdays but can take care of your pets in the mornings and evenings! I am available all day most weekends for more frequent visits! If doing a pet sitting I will discuss with you how often pups need to be taken out to go potty and get play time and will do the best I can to keep their schedule the same!

Having worked in a big city as a dog walker I have learned how to safely navigate pups to find quiet streets and grassy areas while walking. In the summer I am not comfortable with going on walks midday without booties since their paws are very likely to burn. I prefer using harnesses for walks. For pet sitting, if your dog is not crate trained I love to hide a treat when I’m leaving so that they are distracted as I go out the door. And I use that same trick for cats!

If there are any allergies your pet has, a restricted diet (no extra treats on walks, etc.), or any favorite toys or activities I’d love to know so I can give them the best care possible! Do they have any fun tricks you want us to practice or new ones you want them to learn?
A typical day
I love going on hikes and going to dog parks (of course only if you’re comfortable with that) and am attempting to train for a triathlon so I could try my best to run with your pup if they have more energy! (If I can’t keep up I have this awesome tennis ball thrower that gets some nice distance in parks!) If you prefer your dog stays home during our visit I can always practice training, play with toys and the fan favorite: laser pointer! If your pup is older we’ll limit the activity to what they are comfortable with, a walk around the block or just around the house. Once my dog hit 16 it became harder to play but we figured out how to keep him stimulated and having fun! If your kitty needs more playtime during visits I can bring my laser pointer and other engaging toys my own cats love!

Hi there! Anytime I find myself with a little extra time on my hands and would love to spend it taking care of and playing with awesome pups or cats! In undergrad I worked for a professional dog walking company in Boston for two years and loved every second of it! During my time at the company I learned how to motivate pets properly, how to use harnesses and avoid busy streets to ensure dog’s safety on walks, how to administer a variety of pet medications (IV, rectal and oral medications). It’s so important to keep pets stimulated with a variety of toys and taking different routes on walks. I currently own two cats and a wonderfully well trained and playful 2 year old pup. I also had a 17 year old pound puppy that we had to say goodbye to this last year. In school I always served on club leadership boards and have refined my communication, organizational and time management skills that would help me not only take care of your fur baby but to also keep you updated and have peace of mind when away from them. I also seem to have taken on the role as “school break pet sitter” for when friends are visiting family for the holidays. During the visit I’ll take lots of pictures and keep you well updated! *Now that I have a pup of my own, for house sitting it would be great if I could introduce my pup in case something happens and I need to bring her with me. No hard feelings if you are not comfortable with this or if your dog is not dog friendly, I can make arrangements!* For all visits I like to do a meet and greet as soon as possible, to make sure your pet is comfortable with me and to get the lay of the land! Like I said earlier, I have my own pup and if she can meet your pup and get along that would be amazing, but no hard feelings if not. We will only go on walks or to parks if you and the pup are comfortable with it.

Andalyn was great with Luna. We also had an extra meet and greet beforehand to introduce Luna to her dog. They got along great, so Luna had some play days with Andalyn’s pup while I was away. She loved it. I’ll be asking for Andalyn’s help again in the future!
Andalyn was the best! In addition to taking such great care of Milo and sending frequent updates, she also took him to the farmers market and kept him entertained with company from her dog, Pearl. I highly recommend booking with Andalyn!
Great house sitter and sent picture of the babys manu time. They both seemed to like her a great deal and I would use Andalyn againin a heartbeat.
