Dogs, cats, even rats deserve care
I have cared for animals most of my life; from family pets, to cat/dog sitting for friends, to caring for any stray or lost animals I come across. I am an animal lover and pet owner so animal care is something I value deeply. I was 15 when I raised my dog Kiba with parental support. I have experience with puppy care including potty training, cleaning up after messes, aftercare for deworming and so on. I am experienced with walking dogs, big and small, and love to play. I have helped with post-surgery aftercare, with neuterings, heart worm treatment, and paw injuries. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, and have cared for puppies as young as 8 weeks and kittens as young as 4 weeks. I even have experience with pet rats! No matter the shape or size, I would love to look after your pets.

I understand that for many animals, it can be confusing and even frightening for a stranger to enter their space. I am a very patient person, I am happy to give your pets the time and space they need to get familiar with my presence. I am familiar with the body language and temperament of dogs and cats, I know what I should look out for in the case they are feeling uncomfortable or anxious. I know to allow them to familiarize themselves with my scent, speak softly and calmly, and be aware of my own body language and movements. I have experience with stray and lost animals, as well as with house sitting so I know the best ways to introduce myself to a dog or cat. I will be respectful of you and your pets space, and make my presence feel as comfortable to them as possible.

Anaya is very sweet and was great with my dog and 2 cats. She updated me and sent pictures daily. She was always quick to check in and respond. She even cleaned up before she left. I will definitely use her again when I’m in need of a sitter!
Anaya is a wonderful pet sitter and animal lover. She enjoys caring for dogs and has experience raising rescues. Anaya has also raised young kittens and is a great mom to her cat, Beans, and two dogs, Kiba and Pistachio. She provides consistent, thorough care and is a great playmate to any animal.

Anaya has been watching my pets for years which includes dogs and cats. One of my dogs almost loves her more than me! She is incredibly kind and caring and her love for animals really shows. Anaya follows instructions well (my pets are particular) and she is always reliable and timely. She will go above and beyond and not just do the minimal caretaking. She will make your pet(s) feel safe and loved.

Schedule
I am a college student at UT Austin and am currently on a break from classes and work for the summer, so my availability is very open. Outside of responsibilities I have to my own pets, I have a lot of freedom.
