Hi, I’m Anastasia, a lifelong dog lover and proud mum to a 14-year-old Toy Terrier who’s still going strong! My husband and I have always been surrounded by dogs. His parents run Starzhy, a kennel of beautiful Bernese Mountain Dogs in Ukraine, and together we’ve cared for pets big and small — not just our own, but for neighbours, friends, and family in both the UK and Ukraine. Looking after dogs comes naturally to us. We know what they need to feel safe, loved, and happy, whether it’s a gentle walk, a bit of playtime, or just someone calm and kind while you’re away. Every dog is family to us, and we treat them that way.

Dave had a great stay with Anastasiia and her family. He came back exhausted from all the play and activities. We loved seeing regular photos of what he was up to as well
Our dachshund Otto stayed with Anastasia for a long weekend, from Thursday to Sunday, and he was so well looked after. We received regular updates and lots of lovely photos throughout his stay. We also really appreciated the extra indoor playtime with his favourite toy, and the care Anastasia and her family showed him. It was an added bonus for Otto to have a four-legged friend, Yamaika, to spend time with during his stay. Thank you for taking such good care of our little one. Otto is already looking forward to seeing you again later this summer!
Anastasiia and her family took such great care of Scopa . I dropped off my dog for a full day of care during a recent heatwave in London. Anastasiia was very responsive and sent photo updates throughout the day. I could tell Scopa was being well looked after and shown plenty of attention. When I picked her up, she was a happy and calm pup. I’d readily book with Anastasiia again.
Anastasiia and her husband looked after our two year old Dachshund, Otto, for the day, and everything went wonderfully from start to finish. Anastasiia was always very responsive, kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the day, and made drop-off and pick-up easy to arrange. Their house also has a garden, which is a great bonus for dogs to enjoy on summer days. Anastasiia was also kind enough to arrange a meet and greet beforehand, which was really helpful for talking through Otto’s routine and key needs. She was attentive, asked thoughtful questions, and even took time out of her Sunday morning to meet us. Anastasiia and her family are kind and caring. It was also lovely that their small Terrier could keep Otto company during the day. Thank you, Anastasiia and family, for giving Otto such a great day!
Alfie and Mabel came back very happy after their weekend with Anastasiia and family. We will definitely use them again. Thank you family
They were great! Met up before the day as I couldn't be there for the hand off, was very helpful. The boy seemingly made himself at home and looked very comfortable. Thanks again!

Programa
I work from home three days a week, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time during the day for walks, play, and company. On weekends, my husband and I are almost always at home, so your dog will never feel lonely or left out. Whether they’re full of energy or prefer a slower pace, we adjust to their needs and treat them like our own.

We have a secure, fenced back garden that’s perfect for safe playtime and fresh air. And your fur baby won’t be alone ,our sweet and friendly 14-year-old Toy Terrier is always happy to share her space and keep new friends company. She's gentle, well-socialised, and still full of life!

We are happy to adjust to your schedule. My dog loves both long walks and to chill on the sofa, so happy to do both lots of activities and relaxing time together.
