I work remotely and make my own schedule as a therapist, so I’m able to easily build pet care into my daily routine. I’m home for most of the day, which means plenty of time for walks, play, feeding, and check-ins. I’m used to structuring my schedule around care and consistency, so your pet would get reliable attention, supervision, and lots of affection throughout the week.

I’m especially experienced with small dogs who are curious, clever, and love to squeeze into tight spaces, so I know firsthand how important it is to stay attentive. I make sure pets are always in my line of sight or that I know exactly where they are at all times. I also check in with clients about house rules, including which areas are pet-friendly or off-limits, and I work with them to create a safe, comfortable environment. Whether it’s keeping doors closed, watching for sneaky hiding spots, or just being extra mindful, I prioritize your pet’s safety and wellbeing like they’re my own.

Before watching your pet, I’d like to know anything that will help me support them best! I like to get a sense of their daily routine, medical needs, and personality so I can provide the most loving and attentive care possible. I’ll ask about their feeding and bathroom schedule, any medications or allergies, and how they tend to behave on walks or around other animals and people. It’s also helpful to know what commands they respond to, their favorite toys or comfort items, and anything they’re fearful or reactive to so I can make them feel safe and supported. I’ll also check in about what areas of your home are pet-friendly, how you’d like me to enter or exit, and make sure I have emergency contacts and vet information just in case. My goal is to care for your pet with love, patience, and attention to every detail.
A typical day
I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and finding activities that bring out their joy. For energetic pups, we might go on nature walks, play fetch, or try fun little training games that keep their minds and bodies active. For more mellow or older pets, we’ll enjoy cozy cuddle time, gentle brushing/massages, or lounging together in their favorite spot. I also love enrichment, like scent games or food puzzles, for mental stimulation. I bring a calm, grounding energy that’s great for anxious pets, and I always take care to move at their pace. Lastly, I’m also an artist and love sketching people’s pets when I bring my drawing pad!

Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up around dogs and have years of experience caring for pets of all ages, especially senior pups who need a little extra love and support. I cared for my mini dachshund from childhood through her older years and have looked after many pets with medical conditions, so I’m confident giving medication, staying on top of routines, and tuning into what each pet needs. As a therapist, I bring a calm, loving, and attuned presence to every visit. I treat every pet with reliability, warmth, and lots of snuggles. Whether it’s playtime, a slow walk, or just company while you’re away, I’m here to care for your pet with heart.

Anastasia dog sat our dachshund for 2 weeks and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable. She is warm and friendly and a great communicator. She spent a lot of time with our dog during the day which is what we wanted and he actually seemed tired when we returned which was a relief and we were happy he wasn’t in his crate for long stretches. Our dog really loved her and I loved getting pictures of them snuggling on the couch. I was able to relax and not worry about his care and him being left in crate unstimulated for most of our time away which made me so happy. Our dog can be nervous at first with new people and she patient with him. Highly recommend and will use again!
Anastasia is one of the most outgoing and trustworthy person I've ever met. When it comes to attention of detail and care, look no further! Your pets will be in amazing hands with her, as spoken from personal experience. I went on a multiple week trip, and always felt secure in my choice of leaving my pets (elderly cat and an elderly large dog) in the hands of Anastasia! I never had to worry if they were taken care of in multiple ways, such as her walking/feeding my dog, or cleaning the litter box for my cat as she always kept me in the loop. They are also extremely friendly and can get along with anyone (human or not!). Thank you again, Anastasia for everything you've done for me and my babies!
