Caring for animals has been a big part of my life for years. I have experience with cats, dogs, and small animals, and I always strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. ● I previously volunteered/worked at a local animal shelter, where I primarily cared for cats, but also walked dogs and looked after smaller animals. ● I have dog-sitting experience, including overnight stays while caring for other people’s dogs. ● I regularly walk my neighbour’s dog from time to time. He’s a big boy and an absolute love bug! ● I previously completed a co-op placement at Ruff Cuts, where I gained hands-on experience with basic pet grooming: ○ Cat nail trimming: $10 per cat (additional charge) ○ Dog bathing: $15 per dog (additional charge) ● I have experience helping dogs who pull on their leash and know how to work with them toward calmer, more comfortable walks. ● Before caring for your pet, I’ll ask about their routine, personality, quirks, preferences, and any special instructions you have. Every furry family member is different, and I want to make sure I care for them the way you would. ● Getting to know your pet and making sure they’re happy, safe, and comfortable is my priority (aside from coming home to my own three spoiled boys 😂).
