Treating your fur-baby with the same love as one of my own pets is my priority! When I am at a client's home, my goal is to keep their pet's environment safe and clean. I can allow space to adjust at their own pace and feel secure while their owner is away, or give lots of cuddles and playtime. Totally optional and dependent on the animal! For every visit, I keep each owner's contact information, veterinarian information, emergency instructions, and medication details readily accessible throughout their pet's stay. At my own home, if your dog needs some time alone, becomes overwhelmed, or does not do well around other animals, I can provide a separate space where they can feel safe and comfortable. I can also easily accommodate crate-trained dogs or dogs whose owners specifically request crating.

Each morning we would start off with going potty in the fenced-in backyard. Then, we would go for a minimum of a mile walk around 9:30am. During this time, they would receive socialization opportunities with other dogs, including my own. In the afternoon, I would make sure to engage the dog in play with their favorite toys or games to keep them stimulated. That could look like playing fetch, tug-of-war, exploring the yard, working on simple training games, or using puzzle and treat toys for mental stimulation.
