A typical day
This varies heavily depending on the dog. When I dogsat energetic dogs we'd be walking in the woods or by the lake for 2-3 hours per walk, staying active and the dog's senses stimulated. I've also taken care of elderly dogs, depending on their size aswell as age those walks could be very short distance between 10-30 minutes, sometimes just sitting outdoors in the fresh air without much walking since their limbs hurt. The remainder of the day is also unique, with some dogs we'd practice commands, others just relaxed with a bone. During 2 years of my life I was able to take dogs with me to work, so they'd be little assistants at the office!

Got my beloved mixed rescue Sandor at the age of 14. Loved and cared for him daily until I had to move for studies. I later began dogsitting different dogs. It ranged from a 6 month old Toller to an elderly mixed Dachshund. For about 2 years I was a personal assistant to a lady with a toothless chihuahua. I also lived with and took care of a 15 year old pug for 2 months during 2022. In 2025 me and my cat Pancake moved from Sweden to America. Prior to that me and Pancake had travelled a lot together but only within Sweden so this was a big move. It went smoothly and now were here, part of a big family with 2 tiny malteses and 3 cats! All lovely rescue pets.
