I have experience with a variety of dogs, such as a German Shepherd + Black Labrador Retriever Mix, whom I fostered and trained from 4 weeks to 4 years; an adult German Shepherd + Pitbull + Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix, whom I fostered for 2 months and socialized (she came to us very afraid of people, primarily men); a Great Pyrenees puppy (~2-4 months old), whom I only fostered for a month, but was able to successfully leash, potty, and crate train; and most recently, a 3 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, whom I fostered for two years and crate trained, leash trained, recall trained (some off leash training, although due to breed regulations this was not tested in public settings), and socialized (to other dogs, high prey drive meant no cats)- this dog was adopted and is now a farm dog (notably, a livestock guardian dog, not herding- putting the high prey drive to use)! I am very partial to American Staffordshire Terriers and bully mixes, and thus have a lot of experience with this breed due to overcrowding of them in Texas shelters. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters and even helped socialize and generally train future service dogs.
