In need of my daily dog dose!
Hello fellow dog owners! My name is Anabelle, and I am thrilled to bring my two years of fostering experience with the Kingston Humane Society to the Rover community. As a foster mom, I've had the pleasure of caring for a diverse range of dogs, including those with challenging behavioural issues and separation anxiety. In addition to fostering, I've been a proud dog parent to three wonderful companions – a lively Beagle and two gentle giants, Bernese Mountain Dogs. I firmly believe that every dog deserves the same love, care, and affection as humans, and I'm dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment for your furry friends. With a genuine passion for all things animals, I've developed a special connection with dogs over the years. Whether it's a leisurely walk, an adventurous hike in the trails, or a visit to the dog park (if they're up for it!), I ensure that each dog under my care receives the attention they deserve. I understand the unique personalities of different dogs and tailor my approach to suit their individual needs. Whether your furry friend needs a calming walk, a challenging hike, or just some extra love and attention, I'm here to make their time away from you enjoyable and stress-free.

Annabelle has dropped in to visit my little one while I am away at work and she has been great! Very much appreciated - very kind and reliable, would certainly recommend!
Anabelle was flexible with last minute changes and communicated quickly when contacted. My dog was retuned healthy and happy!
It was so wonderful to have Anabelle come and watch my two shih tzu and two ragdoll cats while I was on vacation. My fur family was in good hands and they came running to see her when she stopped by showing me that they were comfortable and not afraid to have her with them. I would definitely have her back to watch my animals and recommend her to other people.
Anabelle was very flexible and conveniently also had a housemate who is also on Rover so it was easy to coordinate pick up and drop off for Daisy.
Anabelle was able to accommodate a very last minute walk request, saving me from a disastrous situation. She was very easy to communicate with, professional, kind and Peach loved her! Highly recommend :)

Schedule
As a recent Queen's graduate who has decided to stay in Kingston for an extra year, I am fortunate to have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate ample time to animals. I work remotely during the week, but aside from my flexible work schedule, I’m very much a home body. I share my living space with two other dog-loving individuals, each with varying schedules. This means that your dog will never be alone! The constant presence of fellow pet lovers ensures a supportive and engaging environment, offering your pup companionship and a diverse range of interactions and experiences. Rest assured, I am available 24/7, both on weekdays and weekends. Whether it's a midday stroll, an evening play session, or a weekend adventure, I am here to cater to your dog's needs whenever they arise.

The well-being and safety of your beloved pet are my top priorities. In my home, I maintain a secure and pet-friendly environment, free from potential hazards. Having been a foster with the humane society, my home has already been certified as a pet-friendly and safe location. When caring for your pet, I adhere to your specific guidelines regarding access and security. Building a trusting relationship with your pet is fundamental to their well-being. I approach every interaction with patience, kindness, and respect for their individual needs and preferences
A typical day
I would describe myself as a “go with the flow” type of person. That means if your dog is young and high energy, we will walk, run around, play tug of war, and hang out until they are happy and tired. If you have an older dog who loves to chill, we will lay on the couch together cuddling and watching movies all day. I try to make the transition as smooth as possible, so I can be whoever your furry friend needs me to be in order to keep a routine.
