I am able to stay overnight, head over during early morning hours, and spend the night overnight! I work in Powell OH about 40 hours a week, 8 hour shifts on average. I get my schedule 3 weeks out, and I am happy to share it with any pet parents looking to book! I've just recently bought my car, so transportation is reliable!

Information Anabelle M. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, health issues, or concerning behaviors ahead of time. Scratchers, jumpers, and mouthy players are fine, but it is required that you tell me if your dog is reactive or aggressive, and if so what to, so that I may avoid injuring myself or your animal. Any special notes or requests are also acceptable, such as requesting I bring toys, or use your own! If your dog has a history of nipping and drawing blood, or biting, please tell me prior and how to avoid being injured in this way. I will not always turn away bite risk dogs, unless I am not given any information regarding how to avoid a bite or injury, as not all cases are the same. This also applies for food aggression or other territorial behaviors.

A typical day

I love to test a dog's endurance whenever possible. I play with tug of war toys, I play chase, and I even exercise with the dog. I make sure I give plenty of love and praise whenever possible, given the fuzzball is behaving well, otherwise I'll redirect and praise upon said good behavior being performed! I am skilled in training dogs basic tricks such as sit, shake, shake (while switching paws), up (sit on back legs upright with front legs in air), up-up (jump in place), spin, lay down, lay down all the way (instead of laying on belly, laying on side with belly exposed), roll over, and stay. I have trained my own dog all of these tricks, but I am not a certified trainer.

Pet care experience

I have a beautiful dog of my own at home, his name is Merlin, he is an Australian Shepherd Border Collie mix, and a huge bundle of energy! I am not unfamiliar with puppies, elders, big dogs, little dogs, and the like! I am comfortable interacting with dogs ranging from Great Danes, Golden Retreivers, and even Dachshunds!

Anabelle once again took great care of my house and pets while I was away. I would happily book her again.

Once again, Anabelle did a great job with our dogs and birds. We returned after 4 days away to happy pets and an orderly house. We had some outdoor construction going on during our time away and Anabelle kept the dogs safe and happy even with everything going on. We would not hesitate to book her again.
