I prefer small or medium breeds, because I have an 8-month-old girl, but I can consider large breeds as long as they are sociable with other dogs and with children.
A typical day
If it is daycare during the day, everything would start with a small walk of about 30 minutes in the morning, then we would return home, I would go to work while the dog takes a nap, about 12;30/ 13;00 We would go out for a walk to the nearby park an hour approx then we would return home around 3 pm to eat and rest. Around 4:30-5 pm, we would take another one-hour walk and then wait for its owner to come for it.
