Information Ana P. would like to know about your pet

Breed and size: Different dog breeds have unique characteristics, exercise requirements, and potential health issues. Knowing the breed and size of the dog can help me understand their specific needs and tailor their care accordingly. Age: The age of the dog is crucial in determining appropriate care. Puppies require frequent feeding, potty training, and socialization, while senior dogs may have specific health considerations and lower activity levels. Medical history: its important to ask about the dog's medical history, including vaccinations, any ongoing health conditions, allergies, medications, or previous surgeries. This information helps me provide appropriate care and be aware of any specific health concerns. Feeding routine: need to know the dog's regular feeding schedule, dietary restrictions, and preferred food or treats. Exercise needs: need to know about the dog's exercise requirements and preferred activities. Some dogs need extensive physical exercise, while others may have specific exercise limitations or preferences. Behavior and temperament: I need to know if they are friendly and social, or do they have specific behavior issues or anxieties? This information helps me create a comfortable and safe environment for the dog. Training and commands: I need to know about the dog's training level and their response to basic commands. This helps me communicate effectively with the dog and maintain consistency with their training. Allergies and sensitivities: I need to be aware of any known allergies or sensitivities the dog may have, whether it's related to certain foods, environmental factors, or specific substances. And of course, Contact information: owner's contact information, as well as emergency contact details for a veterinarian in case of any unexpected situations or emergencies.

A typical day

Play fetch: Dogs generally love playing fetch, so we can find a spacious area, such as a park or a dog park, where I can throw a ball or a frisbee for them to retrieve. Doggy playdates: If the dogs I am watching get along well with other dogs, I can arrange playdates with others who have friendly dogs. It's a great way for them to socialize and burn off some energy. Dog-friendly hiking trails: I can look for nearby trails that are dog-friendly, with beautiful scenery and nature walks. Of course I'll make sure to check the regulations and leash policies beforehand. Dog parks: Take the dogs to a local dog park where they can roam off-leash and interact with other dogs. It provides an opportunity for exercise and socialization.

Ana was wonderful! Very responsive, friendly, totally reliable and a natural with our dogs. She watched our two Labradors for a couple days, she was great about sending notes and pictures of how things were going, our dogs loved her! We would definitely recommend her services!

I highly recommend Ana as a pet caregiver on Rover.com. She is incredibly responsible and genuinely cares for each animal she looks after. Trustworthy and loving. On several occasions, Ana took care of my pet Oli for 2, 4, and even 7 weeks! I couldn't have asked for a better caregiver.

Ana is awesome! I had to start by saying that, she is so kind and sweet to all animals, she is so caring and puts all her love and good vibes into everything she does, she used to take care of my little Guinea pig and my chameleon like they were hers and believe me they are not easy animals to take care of, she remembers all the details and needs because she is so organized she’ll even right everything in her agenda so she knows she’s taking good care of them, she loved them and they loved her, she is in love with every dog she sees on the street and every animal she encounters, I love her she’s the best! And I promise you she will take care of your pet just like they are her own
