Due to gas prices and time, I also charge $10 for meet and greets *** Hi, I’m Ana—a therapist, life coach, and lifelong adventurer who brings the same care and reliability I offer my clients into caring for your home and pets. With over 75 lifetime and 35 repeat pet care clients, I have a long track record of dependability, responsibility, and trustworthiness. Whether I’m caring for your animals, tending to your space, or keeping things running smoothly while you’re away, you can count on me to treat your home as if it were my own. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve shared my home with dogs for over 12 years and cats for 15, raised an Australian Shepherd puppy from 8 weeks old, and cared for everything from rabbits and birds to guinea pigs. I’ve also studied animal-assisted therapy under a world-class instructor, giving me a unique understanding of animal behavior and psychology. I love and respect all creatures, and I pride myself on tuning into each animal’s individual needs and routines so they feel safe, happy, and loved while their people are away. As an avid mountain biker, climber, and hiker, I lead an active lifestyle that pairs perfectly with energetic pets who enjoy outdoor adventures. From hiking trails to paddleboarding at the lake, I’m happy to keep active pups engaged—or simply provide cozy companionship for more low-key pets. No matter their activity level, I’ll follow your instructions carefully and provide updates (and great photos!) so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I also value a clean, organized environment and always leave a home as tidy—or tidier—than I found it. My background as a counselor means I bring warmth, calm, and excellent communication to every sit, making it easy for you to stay informed and worry-free. My approach to pet watching and raising comes from a place of informed animal psychology and positive reinforcement. It is very important to me that animals get treated with the utmost respect and dignity for their intelligence and are given the time and training needed to really understand them. There are no bad animals, just misunderstood or improperly trained ones. Hopefully, we can work from a place of mutual love and respect for your loved ones to make sure you are beyond comfortable leaving them in my care.

Ana took excellent care of my fetch and cuddle loving border collie mix. Lots of pics while I was gone and the house was super clean and tidy when I got home.
Ana ia amazing! Our dogs loved her! She took them for hikes and walks and sent a lot of pictures! Our dogs had a vacation too!

This was our second time using Ana, and we love her! She was wonderful! Definitely the best Dogsitter we’ve ever had. She always sends us pictures and videos everyday and kept in touch regularly. She was really good with our dog’s special needs and our nervous golden warmed right up to her. We felt completely at ease while on a 2 week vacation last month and then used her again this past weekend. Highly recommended for future Rover users!

Schedule
I'm a recent graduate waiting for employment and have a very open schedule, able to accommodate last-minute requests, long stays, odd hours, etc. I can even help book a stay same/ next day. Please reach out, and I'll respond almost immediately! I am VERY active and would love to take your pup out with me to hike, explore, or eat on a patio with me whenever possible. Though I work remotely, I want to be transparent about time away throughout the day if this doesn't align with your pet's needs. The hope is to maximize my time home with them when able, but also hopefully bring them with me when I am out of the house having pup-approved fun.
