I’m a PhD student which means my schedule is incredibly flexible! I’m happy to take care of your dog during the weekends if you need a short getaway, during evenings if you want a date night, and (if given some heads up) I can always take care of your pup during weekdays! I’m more than happy to discuss what your and your pup’s needs are so we can arrange a schedule that works best for everyone!

I have a huge private garden in which your dog can roam leash free but I would also take your dog out on walks to nearby parks for some socialisation with other dogs and people (if this is something you’d like, of course). I live with my boyfriend who is also a huge dog lover and would also keep your dog company, so your pup would never feel lonely! I have space for a crate, if you are crate-training but equally am happy to have your dog in a doggy bed or even on the sofa - again entirely up to what rules you want to stipulate! I live in a first floor flat but there is no balcony and the windows are all child-proofed so you know your dog would be safe. I’m very happy to have you come over to check the environment if you’d like to feel more comfortable.

I would like to know if your dog has any special needs requirement or any behavioural issues. I’m happy to take any dog but I require some notice so I can prepare accordingly.
A typical day
I love to go on long walks so your dog will get plenty of physical stimulation! I also really enjoy playing games with pups, whether it is during a walk or at home so I will always ensure your dog is also mentally stimulated!

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old, whether mine or friends/families. I love dogs and am used to both large and small dogs. I’m very much used to taking care of puppies, as I raised and trained all my dogs growing up. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for 6 years and am used to more troublesome dogs as well as dogs that have health issues. I love going on dog walks, even in the rain, and I’m not afraid to get down in the mud with a pup! I’m caring and kind and I genuinely believe it’s hard to find someone out there who loves dogs more than me!

Ana cared for our big, draft Lurcher, Mia, whilst we were away on holiday. I had absolutely no concerns, we met beforehand and communication was great. Mia clearly enjoyed her holiday too!
We left our border collie X husky with Ana and Rafael for a week whilst we were away. We’ve never left her alone before so we’re anxious, especially because she can be protective and apprehensive with new people. We did a practice sleepover first so she could get to know them and their environment which went well. The second time we returned it was like she’d known them forever and was happy to stay. We had no concerns at all whilst we were away and will be using Ana again in the near future.
Ana and her partner Rafael were great with Stanley, the moment he entered their house he was already feeling super comfortable, you could tell he had a nice time there the last time. Ana sent me some pics to update us on Stanley, he was well cared for on his stay with them. Thank you Ana!
Ana was wonderful. She filled me with full confidence at a meet and greet and it is clear she cares about the dogs she looks after. Pancho ran straight into her arms when we arrived for his stay. She was incredibly understanding and helpful when we had to alter our pick up plans.
