SO sweet! She’s taken care of my baby boy for a while now and I see how much he loves being there! So grateful. Thank you Ana and your family!

When we first met Ana and her daughter, they did not let us go inside their home or see where the dogs would be kept. They said it was because they were watching another dog and didn't want to disturb it. They offered to send pictures of the area which they did do. There was no sign of dogs or dog stuff. The pictures shared of our dogs were always outside. I expressed my concern of this while we were away. They said they did allow them inside but the pictures still only featured them outside looking hot and stressed. By the pictures and our dogs behavior, the sitter did not keep our dogs indoor at all. We discussed that our dogs are used to being inside and only being out 10-15 minutes at a time when needing to go to the bathroom, especially in the heat we were experiencing. They were filthy and stinky and stressed out when we picked them up. They didn't want to go outside their first day home. They seemed afraid of being locked out. We have boarded our dogs a number of times including with Rover. We know what is normal for them. We agreed to use this sitter based on what they agreed to do when we met them. We also agreed to pay a hefty amount to ensure their comfort and safety. I don't believe that Ana kept her end of the bargain.

This was our first time using the Rover app and booked with Ana based on the positive reviews. Our dog enjoyed his stay at Ana’s house while we were on vacation. Ana provided frequent pictures and videos of our dog enjoying himself that provided us with peace of mind while on vacation. I will book with Ana again.

I was disappointed with our experience. My dogs stayed for 8 days, and communication was lacking throughout the stay. Although I was told photos would be sent, I only received updates with photos on two days and had to repeatedly reach out myself. I never felt reassured about how my dogs were doing. I was also concerned that my dogs were left wearing their harnesses continuously. They only wear harnesses on walks. When I asked about it, I was told they preferred to leave them on because it was “better that way.” I asked that the harnesses be removed while my dogs were inside and resting and only worn outside. They agreed, but I never received any updates or photos confirming this. I also never received any photos of my dogs inside the home, only outside. Their backyard is entirely dirt, so my dogs came home very dirty, and their food bowl hadn’t even been cleaned before pickup. Overall, I expected better communication, more transparency, and greater attention to my dogs’ care. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations, and I would not book with this sitter again.

We left our 2 dogs for 2 weeks. I think they were kept outside the entire time. The sitters did not let us come into the house at anytime or see where they would be. All of the pics provided were outside with our dogs looking hot and stressed. When we picked them up they were filthy and scared. They didn't want to go outside for the 1st day home. I don't trust these sitters and wish I had paid attention to my instincts.
