Gentle Pet Care You Can Trust

First, dogs love me! I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and dog walk and drop-ins exclusively in Rogers Park, housesitting available in Evanston as well. ( I value a small, neighborhood-based client network and a strong sense of community, which allows me to provide attentive, consistent care.) A meet-and-greet is required for all new clients. It’s important that we both feel comfortable and confident before moving forward with care. I am a dog and (former) cat owner and a trained shelter volunteer, with experience providing walks, feeding, playtime, enrichment, and affectionate care. My approach is grounded in kindness, consistency, and respect for each animal’s individual personality. I also adore cats and am especially comfortable with shy or cautious ones, allowing them to set the pace. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve provided care for chickens, geese, alpacas, and llamas while house sitting.

Here’s a draft for your review: We cannot recommend Anna highly enough! She cared for our pets with such love and attention while we enjoyed our holiday in Paris. From the moment we met Anna, it was clear she was a true animal lover. She went above and beyond to ensure pets were happy and comfortable, keeping us updated with adorable photos and updates throughout our trip. Coming home to a clean house and happy pets was the cherry on top. Anna’s professionalism, kindness, and genuine connection with animals made all the difference. We will definitely be reaching out to her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter!

Ana is thorough and professional all the way through. I felt at ease knowing she was going to be walking my dog while I had to be out for the day - 10/10 would recommend!

Dog Walking • Mar 24, 2023

I included EVERYTHING Ana asked for in a bag. She claimed there was no harness. I was at my first day of work of a high stakes job. I had left her with contact details of neighbor in case she needed anything who had walked her 2 hours prior and had seen her (he was in the complex while she was there). I had given immaculate instructions about how to get in, where to find everything, general updates about my dog, and an emergency contact for emergencies/questions. After the walk I get the longesttt message at work starting off with it was the worst walk of her and my dog’s life. She claimed I failed to leave a harness; I sent a picture right when I got home of it and she accused me of lying. The message went on to say my dog was going to go blind and get neck injuries, puppies are hard, etc. Nonetheless she offered to continue to walk her. My dog has had manyyy pet sitters and not 1 complaint. My dog is incredibly smart and soo loving and social with all (Ana’s words); she does pull but it is completely manageable. I don’t get where they find dog walkers who literally hate walking dogs. The WORST part is my key is gone. That’s a point of vulnerability for me and I still don’t feel safe. I contacted Rover and they took a report and from there nothing has happened.
