Note: I've had "Star Sitter" status on Rover for many years, but they have removed it due to my desire to only sit once or twice a month. Oh well, over 200 Five Star ratings. I've loved all animals since I can remember. My sweet dog died a while back, and I've not been able to replace him just yet, so I'm ready to spoil the heck out of your pet! Although I live in an apartment, I give them so much exercise. Trips in the car to the dog park, or if they're not good in the car, I live just a 10 minute walk to the beach, and I'll take them there twice a day when dogs are allowed (before 9 and after 5 in the summer, and anytime during the winter). And lots of play and affection for cats. For dogs, no long term requests please, maybe 4-5 days max. For cats, I can go as long as you need if they're easy going/adaptable.

Amybeth had a lovely home with lots of space for our cats. She was very attentive to them and played with them often during the day. She also made sure to tell us that our cat didn't eat all of her food so we could plan accordingly. She's also so nice and personable!! If we need help again, we will definitely book with Amy.
Amybeth is an incredible sitter. I felt completely at ease having Cholula stay with her. She's attentive, took Chu to her favorite spots (the beach!) and was reliable in communication. We will definitely use Amybeth's services when we are traveling next!

Schedule
Please book if you're sure of your plans. When you cancel the day before, although sometimes unavoidable, I may have missed other opportunities. Not a big deal, but it has been. Also, when picking up your pet, please keep me posted if you're late. I once had a dog abandoned with me, so I'm paranoid of that.

Safety, trust & environment
My care is in my home only, no house sitting or drop ins at your home, sorry. I walk the dog as much as their age and activity level allows. If they're good with other dogs, we go to the dog park, we also walk on the beach and/or on the trails, on leash. Even in the winter, I will take them to the Eastern Trail and we'll walk 2-3 miles if their health allows. Cats will get affection and tons of play time.
A typical day
We take so many long walks, tons of them. If it's an elderly dog, I will pet him/her and brush them as much as they care to have. Cats will be brushed, petted, played with.
