Experienced Pet Caretaker and Lover
Hello! I’m a dog (really all animal) lover, who would love to help you care for yours! I grew up both dog and cat sitting for neighbors, and have experience with all ranges of dog breeds and ages, and know that my love for animals translates into great pet-care! I have been sitting on Rover for 7 years. I hope to have my own dog (chocolate lab!) one day, but until then, I’ll treat your pet as my own, and care for all its needs while you are away. I am educated and hold a full time (but flexible) job, and am extremely responsible and trustworthy. I am also Wilderness First Aid certified (as well as CPR), and a runner in my free time, so I’ll be able to keep up with your pet! My husband and I both love dogs, so your dog will get lots and lots of attention from the two of us!

Amy was able to help me out very last minute watching both dogs again when another sitter fell through at the last moment. She is always very quick to respond and sends regular updates. The dogs get lots of attention and activity every day. Highly recommend! My dogs love spending time with them.
Amy was an amazing dog sitter! She followed every instruction to a T, made sure Stella got plenty of daily exercise, and kept me updated with regular communication and lots of photos which really gave me peace of mind. I especially appreciated that she welcomed Stella onto the furniture and treated her like part of the family. She even took her to the dog park to help burn off energy. I felt completely at ease knowing Stella was in such great hands. I’d highly recommend Amy to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring to look after their pup!
Mino had such a great stay with Amy! She is incredibly responsible and caring, and she sent daily photos and updates, which I really appreciated. It is so happy to see Mino relaxed in her care. You can tell she truly loves and understands dogs. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!
Amy was a godsend for our 7 year old doodle! Out of all the sitters we met, our dog bonded with her immediately and was warm. She provided us with daily updates and when he got sick she was very communicative and we felt like he was very well cared for.

Schedule
I currently work from home most days! On days I drop into the office (optional), I always come back during lunch for a long walk or more as necessary. Your pup will have my full attention, and I will not go into the office if your pup cannot be left alone.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is always ‘dog proofed’ before and during any boarding: we ensure that any and all food/sharp objects are put away. We live right next to lots of greenery and a small river trail! I also have a dog bed, food/water bowls, and some extra necessities in case you forget them.
A typical day
I love taking them on walks along the river! On weekends, if you/your dog are comfortable, we also enjoy exploring local trails. Depending on the dog, happy to be as active or not!
