In addition to looking after pets in loving homes, I have veterinary work experience and have fostered dozens of shelter cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies, including those with medical and behavioral needs. I have experience giving vaccinations, subcutaneous fluids, pills, liquid meds, ophthalmic meds, skin meds, and working on behavioral issues. I have formal training in animal handling for routine and emergency situations from VCA, Community College of Denver, and the Denver Dumb Friends League (DFL).

Safety, trust & environment
I'm always attentive to what is going on around your house and neighborhood to make sure that your pet stays safe! If your pet is staying with me, you should know that I have a resident cat. She is fully vaccinated and friendly, but I still always do introductions cautiously and conservatively. I have space to keep pets isolated from each other and pets are never left together unsupervised. If your pet has unique health needs, please let me know so that I can keep everyone safe and healthy. The next guest might be a three week old kitten under quarantine who needs everything to be disinfected.

Schedule
I'm currently mostly away from Rover and recommending that past clients find a new regular sitter. However, I will receive Rover notifications and want to make sure that your family is taken care of and can do emergency drop in visits if needed.
