My partner and I both work fully remotely, me as a life & authenticity coach and him as a software engineer. As such, we have plenty of time to care for your fur babies!

Safety, trust & environment
We are quite protective of the dogs in our care. They will only be let off leash in a closed & designated off-leash dog park (with your permission) or if you've indicated they're allowed off leash and we are careful when cooking not to leave something toxic to dogs (chocolate, onions etc.) in reach. You can even read about an incident in my reviews about a dog who we had to protect from an angry spontaneous physical attack from a stranger. We take the welfare of your dog very seriously.

Information Amy Z. would like to know about your pet
Dogs we'd be a great fit for: - Medium-high to low energy dogs - Dogs who are house trained* - Dogs who are comfortable in an apartment environment - (Overnight boarding only) dogs who can be left alone for at least 3 hours *We totally understand that sometimes accidents happen! However, we have had a few house-trained dog-guests who peed/pooped/had diarrhoea in our home so many times (sometimes multiple times a day, sometimes even walking through their poop and tracking it through the house) that we needed to hire a professional cleaner for our floors & carpet. This is very rare & while we don't mandate this, if it happens we'd appreciate if you'd consider covering that cost. Thanks for reading!
A typical day
Some fun things we like to do with our dog guests: - go on long walks by the water - play ball (if you don't have any we have toys from our days fostering dogs!) - discuss deep topics together (none of the dogs have ever responded to my questions but I think they just need some time to think) - around Christmas time I like to bake cookies and pass them out to people with the dog we're hosting. Sometimes they're more excited by the dog than the cookies ?

Pet care experience
We are former dog foster parents and this experience has shaped our love for animals and our desire to give them a safe place to stay where they will be loved while you are away. What you (& your pup) can look forward to: - Two dedicated dog lovers who work from home and are excited to give your pup lots of love in the form of cuddles, play time and many walks. For the time they are with us they are a member of our family 😊 - I'll send daily photos & updates about your pup - We're happy to do a meet & greet with your dog to see if it's a good fit - We will take loving care of your dog based on the feeding, walking & medical instructions you give us - If your dog needs to take medication we have experience providing it - Long term stays welcome! - Our home has air conditioning For dogs with separation anxiety: right now we're doing doggy day care but not overnight boarding for dogs who can't be left alone. We like to go out on date nights ❤️ Dogs who do best solo: If your dog does not get along with other dogs I will make sure they are the only dog in the house. If your dog does well with other (well-behaved) dogs I occasionally host dogs from other families together so there is lots of playtime & socialization. I will always get your permission in advance before hosting any other dog in my home & will of course be prepared to separate them if they're not doing well together. But of course they usually have tons of fun. Parents of American bullies, pitbulls, bulldogs, pugs, and Boston Terriers: we love your dogs but unfortunately have had negative experiences with others that would make us non-ideal caregivers for them. We know every dog is different and we're sad that unfortunately have to decline these breeds. Thank you for trusting us with your animal best friend, when they are in our home we they're our animal best friend too! I know how important it is for you to find the right sitter for your dog, please feel free to ask questions and book a meet & greet to see if we're a fit. Thank you for reading 😊 Amy
Reviews

Amy a pris soin de notre chien pendant notre séjour de dernières minutes. Elle nous a fourni de nombreuses photos et suivi tout au long du séjour. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Lovely stay, our dog was very happy!

I feel so grateful to have found Amy on such short notice to take care of my big boy Jerry. She was reassuring and took away any anxiety I had about leaving him for the first time with her. He had a great time! They did many activities and Amy was always available to giving daily updates. Will gladly hand over Jerry again, knowing he’s in the best hands <3

Amy and Pranav took great care of my old boy. They had the misfortune of dealing with an IBD flair up and handled it like champs. I am very grateful that he was in good hands!
