There’s nothing I love more than animals, but dogs have a special place in my heart. I work from home and have two dogs of my own (a senior mini Maltese and a Chihuahua/Papillon mix), so I’m able to do drop-in visits and walks during the day. I’ve used Rover before and know exactly what I want when searching for a dog sitter: someone trustworthy, friendly, caring, able to meet my dog’s needs, and treat them as their own. “Treat other animals the way you’d want someone to treat yours,” is the motto I live by as a dog sitter. And if dogs could talk, mine would tell you just how crazy (the good kind) of a dog mom I am. I know the underlying worries that come with leaving your best companion at home, with a stranger no less. My goal is to make your pet feel loved and cared for while also providing pictures, updates, and more to make sure you feel reassured while away. As a mom to a 14 year old senior dog, I have plenty of experience assisting dogs with special needs and oral medication administration. I aim to fit your dog’s routine and schedule so they feel as comfortable as possible. That said, if instructions are provided I will follow them to a tee! Whether you’re unavailable for work or travel, my goal is to be someone both you and your pet can rely on. :)

I’m so glad we found Amy!! We had to leave my dog at home during the work day for the first time and felt so guilty but that guilt was assuaged by seeing how much he loved Amy, who came by in the middle of the day. She’s great with dogs and even handled his extreme zoomies out on a walk when we first met with ease. She’s very professional and prompt with responses, plus leaves Rover cards that make me so happy when I’m missing my pup! Will contact her again in the future. Thanks, Amy!

Schedule
My work is fully remote so I’m able to walk or visit your pet during the week. I’m available on weekends as well but will require advance notice.

- Meet and greets are crucial, mostly for your baby but for you as well! A meet and greet will allow you to give me any specific instructions or requests you'd like me to carry out while providing a trustworthy setting for your pet and me to get to know one another. Furthermore, I would love to know what their energy levels are, if they have any leash reactivity, if they need special assistance, or any specific behaviors I should be aware of. The more I can find out about your pet, your preferences, and the boundaries you set, the easier it is for your baby to feel comfortable with me. :)
