Currently I work full time Monday-Friday from 8-4:30pm. I would be available for any late afternoon/evening walks/drop-ins! I am open to dog sitting and/or cat-sitting at your home if they are okay being by themselves most of the day while I am working. I am also available for weekend walks, drop ins, and pet sitting!

I typically like to walk dogs around the neighborhood and try to switch up the routes when I can. Or I will let them in their yard and play with the dogs, whichever the owner prefers. I like to make sure any pets are as comfortable and safe as possible. When caring for pets in client’s home, I am respectful and make sure to follow any instructions for their pets, and send pictures to check in. I always make sure to clean up the house before I leave.

No breed preferences-open to all of them. I would like to know about a dog's likes/dislikes, and a little about their behavior when initially meeting someone new-are they shy and take a little longer to open up?
A typical day
I will usually go on walks in the surrounding area, but if there is a forest preserve nearby, I love walking dogs there and they seem to enjoy it! (I avoid going far into the forest-usually too many bugs or thorns or things of that nature). For activities, I like playing fetch and tug-of-war, sometimes even pretend play fighting with dogs (only if they enjoy it). I'm also always up for a snuggle session if the dog is more of a couch potato! I do like practicing tricks with dogs, so that could also be something I potentially do.

I am an easy-going person who is willing to provide pet-sitting and/or dog-walking services. I have been around dogs since I was very young. I have experience sitting for dogs (puppies-elderly), and am comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes (and temperaments)! I volunteered at the Naperville Area Humane Society as a morning cleaner/dog-walker. When I lived in the city, I volunteered to walk dogs at the Chicago Canine Rescue. I do have experience with elderly dogs and can provide lifting assistance and administer medicine as well. If needed I would be able to bathe dogs and do light grooming. I would gladly care for your dogs at your home. I do care for the well-being of animals, which is why I help take care of them whenever I can!
