I have had and cared for dogs for over 20 years. I have experience house- and pet-sitting for a variety of dogs, cats, chickens, and ferrets, including giving medication and following special diets. I currently work in wildlife animal care and am in school training to be a vet tech. I have great attention to detail and a heart big enough for all of the creatures!

Not only will I take care of your pet, but I will take care of your home as well. I will leave it as clean as I found it, if not cleaner. I will follow any and all instructions as to care/rules of the household and make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible while you are away.

Amy is THE BEST! Great communication process, so excited to care for Lou and Landon (who can be a handful as a pair) but she took SUCH great care of our boys while we were visiting the Wild Center. When we came back, they were just sleeping on their beds while Amy was reading her book. They’re never that calm! I would 1000% recommend Amy and would absolutely hire her again if in the area. Amy was very sweet and attentive to Preston and Rosie. She kept us informed every day often several times a day. They were very happy and relaxed with her and even seemed see her go! I love that she was willing to stay with them on her day off until we came home and she provided lots of pictures. We have a wonderful sitter in our Pennsylvania town and now we are happy that we have found Amy here in New York. We will definitely use her again.

Amy did an awesome job! It was my first time using Rover and she made the whole process easy. She sent regular updates and handled our rambunctious, talkative and loving dogs well. I would definitely recommend her and will book her in the future.

Schedule
I have plenty of time to provide love and support to your pets throughout the day and overnight when/if needed! Just let me know what your pets needs are and I can work with it :)

- The basics: what they eat and when, what their typical schedule is if any, favorite toys, favorite treats, when and where they typically walk, where to find all necessary supplies, etc. The nitty gritty: Any medications they need to be given (or any supplements), any reactivity to dogs or people, any allergies! You know your pet better than anyone! Let me know of any quirks they have or any extra care they need and I will be prepared to make them feel safe and loved!
