Amy took very good care of my dog Kya. Aside from making sure her basic needs were met, Amy also walked her and played with her. Kya is a very energetic and reactive dog and can be a challenge to work with. Amy met the challenge and exceeded my expectations. I would recommend her highly.

I have known and worked with Amy for 9 years in the animal welfare profession, she is extremely knowledgeable in animal behavior and a kind and compassionate pet owner. I would trust her with any of my animals and go to her often for help with bunny behavior and to run scenarios by her for dog and cat issues that I run into personally and professionally. I wish I lived closer to her so she could take care of my pets when I'm not home to care for them myself.

Amy has loved animals since she was old enough to say "cat" or "dog"! I think she is an animal "whisperer" because she knows them in a way that few do. She has grown up around cats, dogs, bunnies, horses, goats, chickens, ducks, etc! She also has studied animals of all kinds and has worked with them professionally as a dedicated animal shelter manager, working her way up from a volunteer. Amy also knows that when you work with domestic animals you are also working with their people. She has studied how to help people deal with animal behavior. Amy has had much success helping both the pet and the pet owner live happily together. Amy has started pet sitting as a young teen and has taken care of my pets many times as needed. I cannot imagine anyone more trustworthy and caring that I would trust my fur babies with!

Schedule

Pet care is a natural part of my daily life—I’ve spent nearly two decades working hands-on with animals, and it’s something I truly enjoy. Alongside developing my own positive-reinforcement behavior consulting service, Trifecta Training & Behavior Services, I maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent care, whether that’s daily walks, with or without a more training structure, or basic dog training help. I prioritize reliability and communication so you know your pet’s needs are always met on time.

I'm happy to work with dogs or cats that have special medical, behaviorial, or physical needs. I am very comfortable and have lots and lots of experience caring for pets with medical needs. I also excell with animals who struggle with fear-based behavior issues. As always, every single pet is different and I want to be 100% that I am the best person to care for them so please contact me with any questions!
