I am currently at university, but pet care fits very well into my routine I am available most afternoons and evenings for dog walking and sitting, additionally my lighter uni days allow for more flexibility.

I make sure pets stay happy and engaged with plenty of walks, sniff breaks, playtime, and positive attention. Depending on the pet, that can include games like fetch or tug, practicing simple commands, exploring new smells on walks, or just relaxing with cuddles and praise. I always match activities to each pet’s energy level and personality.

As a veterinary bioscience student with hands-on vet work experience, I understand animal health and behaviour, as well as having extensive dog walking and sitting experience including helping to look after a litter of Labrador puppies including puppy training and walking reactive dogs. Furthermore I have basic dog training skills.

Amy is such a lover for all animals, especially dogs. She’s extremely caring, patient and confident around them and will make them her friend immediately. She’s taken my dog Alfie out many times and he always comes back relaxed and not overexcited. I wouldn’t want anyone else taking my dog out and couldn’t recommend Amy enough. She’s also super chatty and engaging. If you’re looking for someone to look after your pet definitely look no further.
