I have worked in animal care in a variety of settings - I worked as a veterinary assistant for over 5 years, and have also worked in animal shelters and dog daycares. I have degrees in Zoo Animal Technology and Psychology. I have a passion for canine enrichment and mental/emotional wellbeing and have trained one of my dogs to use buttons to communicate some of her needs/wants.

I am very respectful of the homes of clients and their furbabies. I'm aware that I am entering the animals' home and, for some, that may mean needing some extra time to warm-up and become comfortable. I am happy to go at their pace and be patient. I also carry my own pet sitting liability insurance for added peace of mind.

Amy is absolutely amazing!! She went above and beyond taking care of our 2 dogs. I was very sad to leave our pups while going on vacation, but I felt totally at ease seeing how well Amy took care of them!
Amy is the best person!! She watched our dogs for 10 days while we were out of the country. She even went the extra mile of creating wedding toys for them to help celebrate us! Truly the best, we felt so comfortable knowing our pups were in the best care!!
Amy is exactly the type of pet sitter we were looking for. Great communication, flexible and consistent. She has always been so good with our 4 fur babies! Love seeing pictures of them while she was over. Recently when my kitten was sick, she watched over her. Could not recommend Amy enough.

Amy is amazing! She took such great care of our dogs and cat and sent the cutest updates while we were away. Our dogs are huge, and one of our pups has some extra needs, and she handled everything with so much care and patience. She even helped feed a stray cat that’s been hanging around our home. We feel completely at ease leaving our crew in her good hands. Highly recommend!

Schedule
Pet sitting is my main job and top priority so I can usually accomodate most requests, but I do need a minimum of 5-7 days advance notice.

- Their temperament, what they like to do, how well they get along with other animals (if applicable) and other people they don't know, their energy level, their favorite treats and toys. Vaccine history - I ask that all dogs are current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and heartworm/flea/tick prevention. I ask that cats are current on Rabies vaccines as well as parasite prevention if they have access to the outdoors.
