During the school year, I am available most weekdays after 3:15pm. I am also available for early morning walks or pop-ins before 7:10am. On weekends, I am flexible and can usually work with your schedule. During the summer months and school vacations, I am available and flexible during all weekdays and weekends. I would love to fill my time caring for your pets.

A typical day
When you cannot be there, I will spend time in your home showering your pet(s) with love and attention. We can play with toys in the house or in the yard, we can take a walk (going on a sniffari), we can just spend time together on the couch...whatever your pet most desires.

Pet care experience
I am an animal lover with over 40 years of experience caring for pets. Personally, I have been a dog mom to 4 large dogs (golden retrievers and bernese mountain dogs) and 3 small dogs (cocker spaniel, cavapoo, jack russell terrier). I enjoy long walks outside with our pups. We have also been pet parents to one cat, a cockatiel, 2 hamsters, and a chinchilla. I have not met a pet that I do not like. My family always calls me the pet whisperer! I am good with puppies and elderly pets alike. I have house trained, crate trained, and leash trained all our dogs. I am safety conscious, patient, and loving.

We had an outstanding experience with Amy. She is an animal person and it shows! Our dog took to her right away. Amy was open to all suggestions and questions prior to our dog's stay with her. She communicated openly and made us feel at ease. We received daily updates and pictures while we were away. Our dog had a great stay, and we will definitely contact her in the future.
Amy was easy to communicate with, rolled with some schedule unpredictability on our part and did great with Sweet Pea. Amy got the Pea through a stormy evening, took detailed notes about her stay and left the house cleaner than when she got here! I would absolutely recommend Amy!
Amy took such great care of my dogs! She sent photos and kept me in the loop about their activities. Excellent!
Amy was amazing with our animals while we were away! The dogs were very comfortable with her, and she had no trouble handing the rest of our animals … 2 tortoises, a rabbit, and many fish! She was in great contact and sent lots of cute pictures. We will definitely contact her again in the future!
